Camp: Hopes to overcome groin problem

Sammy Clingan faces a late test for the Sky Blues. The Coventry skipper was forced to withdraw from Northern Ireland's squad for the Euro 2012 qualifier in Italy due to a back problem, while goalkeeper Joe Murphy (groin), centre-back Martin Cranie (ribs), winger Gary McSheffrey (back) and striker Roy O'Donovan (foot) will also require late checks.

Richard Wood has declared his availability after a thigh injury, with the defender scoring for City's reserves in a 2-2 draw against Northampton.

Striker Cody McDonald got 75 minutes in the friendly as he continues to strive for match sharpness, while centre-back James McPake also featured after his minor ankle/shin operation but this weekend is likely to come soon. Midfielder Carl Baker (ankle) remains sidelined.

Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp remains confident of being fit.

Camp withdrew from the Northern Ireland squad for their Euro 2012 qualifying game in Italy this week after sustaining a groin injury against Estonia last Friday.

He reported back to the City Ground, where he continues to be treated by Forest's medical staff, and the 27-year-old feels he is on course to play at the Ricoh Arena.

The Reds suffered no other fitness setbacks during the two-week international break but will still be without Paul Anderson (hamstring), George Boateng (ankle), Chris Cohen, Dexter Blackstock and Garath McCleary (all knee).

Assistant boss Rob Kelly is poised to take charge on Saturday following Steve McClaren's resignation as manager 13 days ago.
