Ashton: Could start for Stevenage

Stevenage have no new problems but manager Graham Westley could make changes following a fourth straight league defeat.

Defender Jon Ashton may have played his way into the team following an assured display as a half-time substitute during the 2-1 loss to Huddersfield last weekend. Chris Beardsley, Byron Harrison and Robin Shroot are also options for Westley.

Stacy Long may lose his place in the starting XI after the midfielder was withdrawn before half-time at the Galpharm Stadium.

Rob Sinclair (groin) and Don Cowan (knee) are still absent.

The game at the Lamex Stadium will be the first-ever competitive meeting between the two clubs.

Leaders Charlton have no new injury worries.

Boss Chris Powell could welcome Leon Cort and Paul Benson back into his squad.

On-loan Burnley defender Cort has been on international duty with Guyana and missed last weekend's 1-1 draw against Tranmere.

He played in a 1-1 draw against Bermuda on Tuesday night but will be back in time for the weekend and could be on the bench.

Benson is close to being fit after a spell out with fractured fingers, although he had fallen out of favour some time before suffering the injury.

Fellow striker Paul Hayes could return to the starting line-up after dropping to the bench last week, but midfielder Bradley Pritchard (foot) is still out.
