Charlton could be unchanged again.

Boss Chris Powell has named the same side for the past three matches and seen his side record three wins, including a 4-0 thumping of Hartlepool last weekend.

However, winger Scott Wagstaff pressed his claims for a place in the starting line-up with a goalscoring cameo as a substitute at Victoria Park.

Dale Stephens has lost his place in central midfield to Andy Hughes and will hope to make the bench at least having been overlooked on Saturday.

Midfielder Bradley Pritchard remains the only injury absentee as he recovers from a broken metatarsal.

Powell is eager for the Addicks to continue their stint at the top of League One, telling the club's website: "We are extremely happy where we are and it's up to us to keep the results going and do our best to stay there."

Strike duo Iain Hume and Neil Mellor are still major doubts as the injury worries mount up for Preston manager Phil Brown.

Respective knee and ankle problems mean Hume and Mellor are unlikely to return as the Lilywhites look to halt a run of six winless matches.

Fellow forward Jamie Proctor is also ruled out after undergoing a hernia operation this week.

Goalkeeper Iain Turner could face a month on the sidelines after suffering a suspected broken foot in training on Monday.

Danny Mayor (hamstring) misses out but Barry Nicholson is pushing for a starting place in the Preston midfield after appearing from the bench in the last week's home games with Oldham and Bournemouth.
