Butler: Set to return for Saddlers

Walsall welcome back captain Andy Butler and fellow defender Daryl Westlake.

Centre-back Butler has missed the club's last two games due to a cyst in the back of his knee but is now fully fit and returned to feature for the club's reserves in midweek.

Full-back Westlake joined Butler in playing 90 minutes for the Saddlers' second string having been sidelined with an ankle injury since the end of October, but whether manager Dean Smith opts to throw him into his starting XI so soon remains to be seen.

Striker Ryan Jarvis starts a three-match suspension after being sent off within minutes of his introduction off the bench in last weekend's 1-1 FA Cup draw at Dagenham & Redbridge.

Smith's only other absentee remains midfielder Kevan Hurst, who aims to return to full training next week as he nears the completion of his recovery from a broken bone in his heel.

Hogan Ephraim will return to the Charlton squad.

The on-loan winger was unavailable for last weekend's FA Cup win over Carlisle as parent club QPR do not want him cup-tied.

The Addicks are still without captain Johnnie Jackson, who has a hamstring injury, and fellow midfielder Dale Stephens following an ankle operation.

Manager Chris Powell made six changes for the Carlisle match and is set to revert to the bulk of the side which ended Huddersfield's unbeaten run the previous Monday.

That should mean returns for goalkeeper Ben Hamer, defender Matt Taylor, Ephraim and strikers Bradley Wright-Phillips and Yann Kermorgant, while Andy Hughes is likely to start in central midfield if Darel Russell does not shake off a calf knock.
