Speroni: Missed the win at Millwall

Crystal Palace will check on goalkeeper Julian Speroni.

Speroni missed Saturday's 1-0 south London derby win at Millwall after coming down with a virus the night before, with Lewis Price stepping in.

Centre-half Dekel Keinan is back in training after a twisted ankle and could be added to the squad but full-back Dean Moxey remains a doubt with the knee injury he suffered at Manchester United in the Carling Cup last month.

Defender Lee Hills (knee) and midfield duo Jonathan Williams (broken leg) and Alex Marrow (ankle) are long-term absentees.

Paddy McCarthy will captain the Eagles against his former club while striker Chris Martin plays the final game of his loan spell from Norwich.

Leicester have no new problems.

Manager Nigel Pearson could make changes for a second game in the space of three days.

He brought Wales international midfielder Andy King back into the side against Portsmouth and also recalled teenage striker Jeffrey Schlupp on New Year's Eve.

Lloyd Dyer and Jermaine Beckford were the players to make way and they, along with midfielder Neil Danns and striker Steve Howard, could come into Pearson's thinking at Selhurst Park.

Beckford particularly impressed from the bench against Pompey, forcing a save from the visiting goalkeeper and having what Pearson called a "stonewall" penalty appeal turned down after he drew a challenge from a defender inside the box.

The 1-1 draw against Portsmouth meant Leicester finished 2011 without a win in five Championship matches.
