Lennon: Could have similar side

Kilmarnock will assess the fitness of Rory McKeown and James Dayton ahead of the game.

Both went off injured during Wednesday's defeat by St Johnstone and did not train on Friday, but Kenny Shiels hopes they can take part against Saints.

Danny Buijs (hamstring) and Ryan O'Leary (knee) remain on the sidelines, however.

St Mirren boss Danny Lennon does not expect to have any fresh injury worries.

Graham Carey has been struggling with a back problem but the

midfielder should be fit for the visit to Rugby Park.

That means Lennon should be able to name a similar side to the one who drew with Dundee United in midweek for Monday's game.

Kilmarnock (from): Bell, Fowler, Pascali, Sissoko, Hay, Kennedy, Shiels, Racchi, Kelly, McKeown, Dayton, Heffernan, Harkins, Jaakkola, Kroca, Pursehouse, Silva, Fisher.

St Mirren (from): Samson, Mair, van Zanten, McAusland, Barron, Tesselaar, McGowan, Carey, Teale, Mooy, Hasselbaink, McLean, Thompson, McShane, Thomson, Smith, Murray, McKee.
