Huddersfield manager Simon Grayson has the luxury of being able to choose from an unchanged squad for the third successive match.
Grayson has no new injury or suspension worries but will still be without skipper Peter Clarke and midfielder Tommy Miller following hernia operations.
Central defender Clarke is closing in on a return to match action after rejoining the squad this week for full training while Miller is a little further behind in his bid for full fitness.
Grayson made just one change for the midweek win over Hartlepool when recalling Calum Woods to the left-back berth in place of Gary Naysmith but may want to tinker with his line-up after seeing them labour for much of Tuesday night.
Striker Alan Lee boosted his chances of a recall by stepping off the substitutes' bench to fire a second-half winner, with winger Gary Roberts and midfielder Damien Johnson also in contention.
Defender Nathan Clarke has joined Bury on loan.
Rochdale defender Kevin Amankwaah remains an injury doubt.
Former Swindon centre-back Amankwaah has been absent from Dale's last three games with a groin problem and is expected to miss out once more against the Terriers.
Boss John Coleman has no new injury worries ahead of the match, which Rochdale head into at the foot of npower League One and without a win in their last five matches.
Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro returned to the starting line-up for Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Carlisle and is poised to continue after suffering no reaction to a recent hamstring injury.
Akpa Akpro was on target along with Ashley Grimes when Huddersfield were held to a 2-2 draw at Spotland earlier this season.
Midfielder Simon Hackney remains a long-term absentee with an abdominal injury.
