Gobern: Ready to return for Terriers

Chesterfield have no new problems.

Some players are nursing minor bumps and bruises after four matches in the space of 15 days recently but there are no serious injuries.

Franck Moussa made an impressive debut against MK Dons on Saturday following his arrival on-loan from Leicester. The Belgian midfielder had to be substituted after 65 minutes due to a lack of first-team football at parent club Leicester and it remains to be seen whether he will start again on Tuesday night.

Defender Simon Ford, midfielders Derek Niven and Alex Mendy and forwards Craig Westcarr and Nick Ajose are among the options for manager John Sheridan should he wish to make any changes.

Huddersfield midfielder Oscar Gobern is expected to return to contention.

Gobern, who has been struggling with a slight hamstring and back injury, has not featured in the last three matches.

Damien Johnson has been ruled out for at least four weeks due to a torn hamstring while another midfielder, Anton Robinson, is unlikely to be involved as he is nursing a hamstring strain sustained during training on Friday.

Tommy Miller is not ready to return following his double hernia surgery but manager Simon Grayson boosted his midfield ranks on Friday with the loan signing of Diego Arsimendi from Stoke and the Uruguayan could start after stepping off the substitutes' bench in the weekend draw at Colchester.

Skipper Peter Clarke returned to the heart of defence on Saturday after being sidelined since undergoing a hernia operation in January and suffered no reaction.

Huddersfield are five points adrift of an automatic promotion place with a game in hand.
