Bournemouth will continue to be without Matt Tubbs who underwent an operation on his hamstring last week. The procedure was successful, but the club's record signing has been ruled out for the remainder of the current campaign.

Caretaker manager Paul Groves will also be unable to call on defender Charlie Daniels, whose recovery from a broken bone in his foot is progressing well but the clash with the Terriers comes too soon for him to make his comeback.

Charlie Sheringham (foot) will remain sidelined for the rest of the term while Stephen Purches (double leg break) is targeting a return to fitness in January next year.

Huddersfield midfielder Tommy Miller could return to the squad following a two-month injury lay-off.

Miller had a double hernia operation in early February and has missed the last 12 matches.

Manager Simon Grayson will still be without defender Jack Hunt, who sits out the second game of his two-match ban after reaching 10 bookings, so Calum Woods will continue at left-back, with Tom Clarke expected to resume on the right.

Grayson has no other new injury or suspension worries, but left-back Gary Naysmith (knee), plus midfield duo Oscar Gobern and Damien Johnson (both hamstring) remain sidelined.

Midfielder Scott Arfield and winger Gary Roberts are both pushing for recalls after stepping off the bench in the second half of Saturday's costly home defeat to promotion rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

Town are six points adrift of second-placed Sheffield United with five games left to play.
