Kouo-Doumbe: Remains sidelined for Dons

MK Dons go into their penultimate home game of the season with just 16 players available.

On-loan Celtic midfielder Paul Slane is back at his parent club receiving treatment for an ankle injury and defender Mathias Kouo-Doumbe will remain absent with the groin problem that has plagued him for the last three weeks.

It means manager Karl Robinson will go with the same matchday squad for a third straight match.

Defender Tom Flanagan, midfielders James O'Shea and Luke Chadwick and striker Jabo Ibehre are Robinson's only outfield options should he wish to make any changes.

The Dons need just two points from their remaining three matches to be guaranteed a play-off spot for the fourth time in six seasons.

Sheffield United pair Richard Cresswell and Marcus Williams are both doubtful as the Blades chase automatic promotion.

Striker Cresswell landed awkwardly during last week's 3-1 home win over Leyton Orient and hurt his elbow and shoulder, while defender Williams suffered concussion in a bizarre incident in the same match when celebrating a goal with fellow substitutes in the dugout.

Manager Danny Wilson has no other new injury or suspension problems as his side chase a seventh straight league win.

Strikers Will Hoskins and James Beattie are both hoping to return to the squad after missing out altogether in the last three matches.

Midfielder Lee Williamson shrugged off a chest injury to play last week and came through unscathed.

The Blades can secure automatic promotion behind Charlton if they win and Sheffield Wednesday lose.
