Rhodes: Could be rested ahead of the play-offs

Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes may be rested for a second week running.

Rhodes, who has scored 38 goals in 42 appearances this season, was an unused substitute in last week's draw at Walsall and could be given more time to recharge his batteries ahead of the play-offs.

Manager Simon Grayson must also decide whether to retain Ian Bennett in goal or pick Alex Smithies, who has sat on the bench for the last three matches.

Striker Alan Lee and defender Gary Naysmith (both knee) are not expected to be included. Neither player has featured in recent weeks and although both are nearing fitness, they too will be spared with the play-offs in sight.

Damien Johnson is hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up after returning from a hamstring injury last week and fellow midfielder Oscar Gobern is pushing for a recall following a similar problem.

Town will be looking to finish the regular season on a high note in readiness for their play-off semi-final clash against MK Dons.

Yeovil welcome back midfielder Ed Upson from suspension.

Upson has completed a three-game ban for picking up 15 yellow cards over the course of the campaign.

Michael Woods remains on the sidelines to serve the final game of his own three-match suspension following a straight red card in the 6-0 thrashing against Stevenage.

Manager Gary Johnson has no injury worries after Gavin Williams was declared fit after his ankle knock.

Four players who will not be involved are Rhys Baggridge, Lewis Clarke, Rob Clowes and Billy Gibson as they were released from their contracts with immediate effect by the Glovers on Thursday afternoon.

Yeovil head into the game looking for their first back-to-back wins since early March.
