Smith: To continue wearing protective mask

Smith: To continue wearing protective mask

Leyton Orient have no new injury concerns.

Midfielder Jimmy Smith is set to continue playing in a protective mask after he returned to the starting line-up at Hartlepool last weekend following an operation on a broken cheekbone.

On-loan Southampton defender Ryan Dickson is still suspended following his red card at Sheffield United last month so utility man Leon McSweeney will once again deputise at left-back.

Centre-half Scott Cuthbert is still out with a hamstring injury and goalkeeper Lee Butcher has a knee problem.

Adam Reed, Soloman Taiwo, Jamal Campbell-Ryce and Calvin Andrew play the final games of their loan spells while a host of other players could be making their last appearances with boss Russell Slade planning changes over the summer.

Rochdale manager John Coleman will have to make changes in defence when his side bid farewell to League One.

Kevin Long has returned to parent club Burnley following the end of his loan spell, creating a vacancy alongside Kevin Amankwaah at centre-back.

With Phil Edwards still absent due to a knee injury, Dean Holden could come in at the back, although 18-year-old Sam Minihan will be hoping to commemorate signing his first professional contract this week with a second senior start.

Nicky Adams featured as a second-half substitute during last weekend's 2-1 defeat to MK Dons, but the midfielder is unlikely to feature having been placed on the transfer list.

Dale head to Orient without a win on their travels since beating Preston 1-0 in November.
