Webster: Hopes to play

Burton will check on defenders Aaron Webster and Ryan Austin.

Webster and Austin were both ruled out of last weekend's 2-0 win over Macclesfield after picking up knee injuries in training.

In their absence Patrick Ada and fit-again Tony James were recalled alongside Nathan Stanton in a back three.

Skipper John McGrath is still out after undergoing a foot operation and striker Billy Kee continues his recovery from groin surgery.

Goalkeeper Kevin Poole will be hoping for a run-out, possibly as a late substitute, after announcing he will retire at the end of the season at the age of 48.

Burton could relegate a second team in just a week after sending Macclesfield down last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Barnet will be without their top scorer Izale McLeod.

Boss Martin Allen revealed on Thursday his 18-goal striker has picked up an injury and will not be available, so Ben May could earn a recall alongside veteran frontman Scott McGleish.

Defensive duo Michael Hector and Jack Saville will be fit despite suffering head injuries in the 4-0 win over AFC Wimbledon last weekend.

Centre-half Darren Dennehy (foot), full-back Danny Senda and striker Steve Kabba (both knee) remain long-term absentees while winger Mark Marshall is still suspended for failing a drug test.

The Bees know a victory will secure yet another dramatic last-day escape but a draw could let in Hereford, who host Torquay.
