The Shots, hosting Scottish opposition for the first time, took the lead after 18 minutes when Rodman lashed in a low drive from the edge of the area.

But the Scottish Premier League side secured a draw in the 65th minute when Nick Ross finished from close range.

Substitute Adam Mekki went close to winning it for Aldershot but fired wide.
