Tevez: Could start against Bayern

Tevez: Could start against Bayern

Roberto Mancini must decide whether to draft Carlos Tevez into his starting line-up for the game.

After an opening-day draw with Napoli, City need a positive result to build on that solid start and with Mario Balotelli missing through suspension and Edin Dzeko without a goal in three games, Mancini may decide it is time to pair Tevez with fellow Argentinian Sergio Aguero.

Owen Hargreaves has not been registered for Europe, so he is denied a chance to face his former club, and Adam Johnson is out with an ankle injury.

Man City (from): Hart, Pantilimon, Richards, Onuoha, Kompany, K Toure, Savic, Lescott, Clichy, Kolarov, Bridge, Barry, Milner, Y Toure, Nasri, Aguero, Tevez, Silva, Zabaleta, Dzeko.
