Torres: Decision for Villas-Boas to make

Andre Villas-Boas was still deciding on Monday whether to recall Fernando Torres for Chelsea's Champions League opener against Bayer Leverkusen.

The misfiring Torres lost his place in the side for Saturday's Premier League win at Sunderland, with Daniel Sturridge coming in and scoring the decisive goal.

Ramires is suspended for Tuesday's game at Stamford Bridge after being sent off in last season's defeat at Manchester United, Didier Drogba (head) is still sidelined, Michael Essien (knee) is long-term injured, and Romelu Lukaku and Ryan Bertrand are ineligible.

Chelsea (from): Cech, Ivanovic, Bosingwa, Ferreira, Terry, Luiz, Alex, Cole, Mikel, Romeu, McEachran, Lampard, Meireles, Mata, Malouda, Torres, Anelka, Sturridge, Kalou, Hilario.
