Carr: Misses Europa League clash

Birmingham will be without captain Stephen Carr for the Group H clash.

The right-back did not travel to Belgium after aggravating a recent knee problem in Sunday's Championship win against Leicester, so versatile midfielder Jonathan Spector is likely to deputise.

Manager Chris Hughton has several minor concerns but will wait until the last minute to decide his line-up. Centre-back Curtis Davies (knee) has travelled with the squad but will not be risked, while midfielder Jordon Mutch (ankle) is continuing his recovery.

Birmingham (from): Myhill, Doyle, Murphy, Caldwell, Ridgewell, Ibanez, Davies, Burke, Beausejour, Gomis, Fahey, Redmond, Spector, N'daw, Elliott, King, Rooney, Zigic, Asante, Wood.
