Jerome: Suspended for trip to Tel Aviv

Stoke boss Tony Pulis is planning to name a strong side for the game against Maccabi in Israel despite the Potters' hectic schedule.

The match comes only three days after Stoke's 3-1 defeat by Newcastle, while they are back in Premier League action on Sunday with a trip to Bolton.

Ryan Shawcross and Marc Wilson have not travelled after picking up muscle injuries against Newcastle, while Cameron Jerome is suspended following his red card in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago and Jonathan Woodgate is ineligible.

Stoke (from): Begovic, Sorensen, Nash, Huth, Upson, Wilkinson, Whelan, Whitehead, Diao, Etherington, Walters, Shotton, Arismendi, Pennant, Delap, Crouch, Palacios, Jones, Higginbotham.
