Stephen Carr and Liam Ridgewell are the only absentees for Birmingham.

Right-back Carr is again rested and has not travelled to Portugal, with the veteran having only featured in one group game for City - their 3-1 reverse against Braga on matchday one.

Left-back Ridgewell, meanwhile, is still struggling with the thigh injury which has ruled him out of the club's last three games. Fit-again midfielder Morgaro Gomis (calf) comes back into contention but is unlikely to start.

Birmingham (from): Myhill, Doyle, Murphy, Caldwell, Ibanez, Davies, Spector, Burke, N'Daw, Beausejour, Gomis, Elliott, Fahey, Valles, Redmond, King, Zigic, Wood, Rooney.
