Huddersfield defender Calum Woods is an injury doubt.

Woods was forced out of Saturday's 4-0 win at Brentford early in the first half with a suspected hamstring strain and replaced by Liam Cooper.

Manager Lee Clark may retain Cooper, on loan from Hull, at right-back, while Gary Naysmith could return to contention in a reshuffled back four. Centre-half Jamie McCombe sits out the second game of his three-match ban.

Clark, who has no other injury concerns, told the club's official website: "I'll be picking a team to win. As I have said previously, I take this competition very seriously.

"It's a local derby against one of the club's biggest rivals and a game that will hopefully provide the fans with bragging rights. Apart from Calum everyone is fit and raring to go."

Bradford skipper Guy Branston could return to the starting line-up.

Central defender Branston was recently dropped and replaced by Andrew Davies, who was drafted in on loan from Stoke by manager Phil Parkinson.

But Davies received a bang on the head during Saturday's draw at Burton and may miss out, while midfielder Ritchie Jones was forced out of the same match.

Parkinson told the club's official website: "We have a few bumps and bruises. Jones has got a little problem with his hamstring and we need to check over Davies because of the whack to his head, so there are a few things that we need to have a look at."

Winger Jamie Devitt (hip) and defender Steve Williams (thigh) remain sidelined, but another new loan signing, Sunderland's Adam Reed, should resume in midfield after making his debut at the weekend.
