St Johnstone could be boosted by the return from injury of some key players.

Striker Francisco Sandaza (thigh), captain Jody Morris (hamstring) and his fellow midfielder Kevin Moon (illness) have been out in recent matches and could return, but manager Steve Lomas declined be definitive ahead of the McDiarmid Park fixture.

Defender Frazer Wright (thigh) and striker Cillian Sheridan (hamstring) have also been missing of late but the match may come too soon for them.

Defenders Thomas Rogne and Badr El-Kaddouri are back in the Celtic squad.

Defender Glenn Loovens (hamstring) and Adam Matthews (ankle) and midfielders Kris Commons (thigh) and Joe Ledley (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
