Snodgrass: Doubtful for Whites

Snodgrass: Doubtful for Whites

Leeds will check on Robert Snodgrass ahead of the trip.

The Scotland winger was a late withdrawal from the squad which travelled to Peterborough on Saturday due to a back problem.

Finland midfielder Mika Vayrynen was handed his full league debut at London Road in place of Snodgrass, but he was replaced early in the second half by Lloyd Sam.

If Snodgrass is fit, he is likely to be the only change from the side which started the dramatic 3-2 win.

Paul Rachubka continues in goal with Andy Lonergan out for six weeks having suffered a fractured finger.

Simon Grayson's side head to Birmingham on the back of a seven-game unbeaten run in the Championship.

Birmingham defender Curtis Davies needs a late fitness test.

The centre-half returned from a month out with a knee injury in Sunday's 2-0 win at Bristol City but picked up a leg knock.

Boss Chris Hughton is hopeful Davies will be fit, especially as Pablo Ibanez is unlikely to be rushed back into action.

The Spaniard was replaced by Davies at Ashton Gate after suffering concussion during the Europa League win at Club Brugge last Thursday.

Midfielder Jordan Mutch is still three to four weeks away from a return from the ankle injury with has kept him out since August.

Hughton's side have won their last five matches in all competitions and lie seven points off the automatic promotion places with three games in hand.
