Wycombe manager Gary Waddock is contemplating changes ahead of the home clash.

Waddock was angered by his side's performance during the 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth on Bank Holiday Monday, saying after the game that only goalkeeper Nikki Bull and midfielder Matt Bloomfield can be sure of starting against the Terriers on Friday night.

The Chairboys boss has options at his disposal, with defender Grant Basey, midfielders Joel Grant and Kadeem Harris and forwards Ben Strevens and Scott Rendell available for recalls.

Dave Winfield will remain on the sidelines with the knee injury that ruled him out against Bournemouth.

Scans have revealed no serious damage and the centre-half could resume training next week with a view to be included in the squad to face Preston.

Meanwhile, striker Matt McClure has returned to full training after being out since August with a dislocated ankle.

Huddersfield boss Lee Clark is hopeful that midfielder Tommy Miller will be available for the trip.

The 32-year-old missed out against Notts County on Monday after picking up the injury during last Friday's draw with Carlisle.

"We won't take needless risks, but we're hopeful he will be available," said Clark.

On-loan Plymouth midfielder Damien Johnson is making good progress in his recovery from a hamstring injury but will be unavailable once again.

Goalkeeper Alex Smithies (knee) remains on the sidelines and has no date set for his return, while defender Calum Woods (ankle) is nearing a comeback but is unlikely to feature.

Star striker Jordan Rhodes shook off a foot injury to score twice against Notts County and showed no ill-effects so will spearhead the Terriers attack.
