Devich comes on for Konoplyanka as Ukraine make their final substitution.

Elmander follows up his vital miss by fouling Mykhalyk, handing Ukraine some time to protect their lead. Three minutes are added to this second half.

A great chance goes begging for Sweden to equalise. Elmander is put through on goal by Ibrahimovic but blazes over from point blank range. Should have done a lot better.

Good skill by Konoplyanka allows Ukraine to break forward. They tease on the edge of the area before Gusev fouls Mellberg as he chases the ball down on the right by-line.

Lustig tries to keep a Sweden attack going, but the ball had gone out of play before he touches it inside.

Mellberg upends Milevsky to allow Ukraine a breather. Sweden had previously threatened with Wilhelmsson in particular looking dangerous.

Voronin is hacked down by Elm, who gets booked.

The crowd goes wild as Shevchenko bows out of the game after scoring twice. He is replaced by Milevsky.

Sweden pressing for an equaliser now, but Wilhelmsson's shot from outside the box is held by Pyatov.

Wilhelmsson goes on a marauding run into the Ukraine box but is stopped by Gusev.

Sweden go close to equalising as Ibrahimovic sees his powerfully struck effort saved by Pyatov. He initially won the ball in the air before being set up for the shot by Elm's lovely flick.

Elm hits a lofted pass towards Martin Olsson on the left flank but the the full back is unable to control and it goes out for a Ukraine throw.

Yarmolenko switches the ball nicely from the right of the pitch to the left as he finds Konoplyanka.

Ukraine looking pretty comfortable and are enjoying possession in Sweden's half.

Third and final change for Sweden now as Elmander comes on for Rosenberg.

The tempo of the game has slowed slightly, and Sweden will need to find a way back into the game sooner rather than later.

Ibrahimovic and Khacheridi have a tussle on Sweden's right wing, but the free-kick goes Ukraine's way.

Sweden respond by making a change, Svensson replacing Toivonen.

That man Shevchenko pops up again. This time he curves his run excellently to meet Konoplyanka's corner at the front post to head into Isaksson's goal. Stunning turnaround from Ukraine.

GOAL - Shevchenko scores again!

Voronin turns away from Blonqvist in the box and has a shot, but it is deflected behind for a corner.

Nazarenko's corner fails to find a target and Sweden can clear.

Ukraine break forward again with Voronin and Konoplyanka combining on the left. Larsson is furious with his team-mates as he tracks back to concede a corner.

What an excellent start to the second half, and we have a real game on our hands now.

Ukraine hit back immediately and it's the national treasure who scores the goal. Ukraine build the attack from the right and Shevchenko heads in from an excellent cross from Yarmolenko on the wing.

GOAL - Ibrahimovic scores!

He is back on his feet as Nazarenko makes a sliding challenge on Martin Olsson to put the ball out for a throw.

Shevchenko is on the floor in a lot of pain following a challenge from Granqvist.

Kallstrom's attempted pass to Larsson is deflected and runs free to Rosenberg. He fires at goal but Selin gets a great block in to avert the danger.

Lustig presses Khacheridi to keep the ball in play but the defender does well to play his way out of trouble.

Ukraine go straight onto the offensive and get the ball in the box but are unable to create an opening, despite the acrobatics of Voronin to overhead kick the ball into the centre.

Ukraine get the second half underway.

As you may imagine, not too much change on the betting front after a goaless first half. Ukraine are priced at 15/8 to grab the win, Sweden are 9/4 whilst the draw is available at 5/4. Ukraine have been the most impressive team so far, with Yarmolenko looking dangerous. He is a tasty 10/1 to score the next goal of the match. Visit www.skybet.com to place all your in-game bets.

So, as things stand, all the teams in Group D will have 1 point after the first round of games. Ukraine have looked the better side and have had more possession, but Sweden have had the best chance of the game so far, with Ibrahimovic clipping the post with a header. What lies in store for us in the second half?

Cuneyt Cakir blows his whistle to end the half. No goals to report yet here in Kyiv.

Just the one minute added to this first half.

Ukraine come back once more, but Voronin misplaces his pass and Martin Olsson can gather possession for the Swedes.

Nazarenko searches out Shevchenko in the box, but Granqvist defends well to send the ball out wide for Sweden to clear.

Ukraine holding possession now in Sweden's half. Gusev is freed on the right wing and hits a dangerous cross to the far post, but Yarmolenko blazes his volley well over the bar.

Back at the other end now. Firstly, Pyatov has to rush to clear from the oncoming Rosenberg following a soft back pass, then Ibrahimovic hits the post with a cross-goal header. Unlucky for Sweden.

A bit of a goalmouth scramble now in the Sweden box, but Isaksson makes a vital save from Yarmolenko to force a corner. Sweden get the corner clear.

Sweden return with a corner but Larsson's delivery is clutched by the unchallenged Pyatov.

Ukraine come forward again and Nazarenko tries an ambitous shot from way out. He hits it with good power and Isaksson has to parry.

Voronin does well to win the ball from the dallying Martin Olsson but a foul is wrongly called, denying Ukraine a break on the left wing.

Konoplyanka attempts a one-two with Nazarenko on the left wing but the return ball is cut out.

Half a chance for Rosenberg as he attempts a half volley on the turn inside the box. Pyatov fumbles it a bit but eventually holds.

Ibrahimovic searches for goal from outside the box, but he is quite a way off and Ukraine actually get a throw-in.

Nazarenko is disappointing with the delivery and it's an easy catch for Isaksson.

Shevchenko goes down suddenly, clutching his hamstring but he seems okay to continue.

Elm looks to hurl a long throw into the box but Khacheridi clears. Ukraine counter with intent and Shevchenko is put through on goal but mishits his shot somewhat and it goes harmlessly wide. From a tough angle on the right side of the goal, a better option may have been to square it there.

Ibrahimovic gets on the ball for the first time this evening, but Tymoshchuk fouls him.

Ukraine having more of the ball so far, and have been the first side to settle in this game. Shevchenko is a bit too eager on the challenge on Mellberg though and concedes a free-kick.

Close to kick-off now, Ukraine in yellow with Sweden in their away navy blue shirt.

Captains Shevchenko and Ibrahimovic lead out the sides as we prepare for the national anthems.

The referee this evening is Cuneyt Cakir of Turkey.

George Bedford writes: "Think Sweden have it about them to see off Ukraine, despite the home advantage. Ukraine's recent form hasn't been as good as Sweden's and I can't see them overcoming the Scandinavians. 2-1 to Sweden."

Sully writes: "Hi olly! I think this game will feature quite a few goals either 2-1 with shevchenko to score first or 3-2 with ibrahimovich scoring a brace!! personally i want them scores!!"

Skybet make Ukraine 13/8 slight favourites to claim victory in Kyiv this evening. Sweden are the 7/4 outsiders, with the draw available at 9/4. Quite clearly, a close game is expected, but I feel Sweden may just have enough about them to steal a win, and a priceboost of Sweden to win 2-1 at 10/1 is attractive. Go to www.skybet.com to place your bets on tonight's fixture.

And the teams are in...

Ukraine: Pyatov, Gusev, Mykhalyk, Khacheridi, Selin, Yarmolenko, Tymoschuk, Konoplianka, Nazarenko, Voronin, Shevchenko. Subs: Koval, Kucher, Garmash, Aliev, Shevchuk, Rakitskiy, Butko, Goryainov

Sweden: Isaksson, Lustig, Mellberg, Granqvist, Martin Olsson, Elm, Kallstrom, Larsson, Ibrahimovic, Toivonen, Rosenberg. Subs: Wiland, Svensson, Jonas Olsson, Antonsson, Wernbloom, Safari, Holmen, Hansson

So, England and France shared the points in Donetsk, leaving the opportunity for either co-hosts Ukraine or Sweden to top the group by the end of the evening. The experience of Andriy Shevchenko and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk will be vital for the home side, while Sweden will no doubt look to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for goals this evening, with the creativity of Seb Larsson and Kim Kallstrom key for them to threaten going forward.
