FT: Poland 1 Russia 1

2150
What an excellent response by Poland in the second half, and they could have gone on to win. The result means Russia top Group A with 4 points, with the showdown between Poland and Czech Republic in the final round of the matches surely deciding second spot. 90+3
The free-kick is instead taken by Blaszczykowski, and it is well delivered but Ignashevich gets a foot on it to clear. That's the last chance as Wolfgang Stark decides enough is enough and calls an end to the match.

90+2
Final change for Poland as Brozek comes on for Obraniak. Obraniak is furious though as he desperately wants to take this last gasp free-kick.

90+1
Three minutes will be added to the game. Poland may have chance from a free-kick on the right wing now as Arshavibn needlessly fouls Piszczek off the ball.

89

87
Both teams looking tired now and both teams look like they will settle for a draw.

Polanski can finally come off as Matuszcyk is now ready to come on.

82

74
A change for Poland now as Mierzejewski replaces Dudka.

73
Arshavin tries a shot from a tough angle but Tyton will not be fooled at his near post.

72
Poland have played the last couple of minutes in Russia's half but are unable to create a chance to score another.

70
First substitution of the night now as Pavlyuchenko replaces the misfiring Kerzhakov.

68
Dzagoev instigates an attack for Russia, playing a fine through ball to Kerzhakov who flicks it back for him to receive again. Dzagoev mishits his shot slighly but nevertheless, Tyton does well to stop it finding the net.

67
Zhirkov takes the corner but Wolfgang Stark awards Poland a free-kick as Perquis is fouled in the box.

66
Perquis has safety in mind as he concedes a corner which will come from the right wing.

65
Arshavin tries to bring the ball into the box but loses control of it. After Russia stay on the attack, he then receives it in the box but is too fancy on the ball and is easily dispossessed.

63
They have a corner to defend now though as Russia look for a response. Arshavin swings it in but it is cleared at the near post.

62
Can Poland repeat the heroics of fellow hosts Ukraine and come back to win after going behind? The crowd are certainly urging them to do so.

60
Denisov kicks out at Lewandowski following a late challenge. It is the Polish striker who gets a yellow card for the tackle though.

58
Poland counter attack with pace after Arshavin had squandered a good chance for Russia. Blaszczykowski receives the ball on the right edge of the area, takes a brilliant first touch to cut inside and blasts the ball into the left corner, leaving Malafeev with no chance. Super strike. Obraniak made the pass to set him up. All level now.

57
GOAL - Blasszczykowski scores!

56
Zhirkov would have been left with a simple finish having made a well timed run to meet a cross from the left, but slipped at the crucial moment.

Denisov gets away with what looked like a handball as he wins the ball ahead of Lewandowski.

54
Poland counter but Lewandowski is penalised for pulling on the shirt of Anyukov in the Russia box.

Arshavin shrugs off two defenders before closing in on goal. He shoots from the left side of the box but doesn't connect properly and the attack ends.

51
Malafeev is quick off his line to punch clear Obraniak's dangerous cross which Lewandowski was ready to prod into the goal.

50
Kerzhakov runs with intent towards the Polish box, but Dudka makes an important interception to prevent his pass reaching Dzagoev.

49
Obraniak tries to find Lewandowski with a low pass but it is cut out by the Russian defence.

48
Obraniak floats in the corner and it is cleared behind for another. Perquis gets his head on the second but it goes over.

47
Poland break with Polanski who plays through Lewandowski on goal, but the striker refuses a shot on his left foot. He holds on to the ball before playing it off Malafeev for a corner.

46
Back to the action now and Russia get the second half underway.

2040
SkyBet have now priced Russia as 4/11 clear favourites to make it two wins out of two. Poland have drifted to 8/1 while the draw is available at 3/1. If you fancy taking up the live football special, Lewandowski to score next and the game to be drawn 1-1 is 14/1. Visit www.skybet.com to place your in-game bets.

2035
It has been an interesting game so far, but Russia finally got their reward for generally being the better team in the 37th minute, with Dzagoev converting Arshavin's excellent cross. Only half-way though and a lot could change in the next 45 minutes.

45+2
Not much additional time needed and Wolfgang Stark blows his whistle for half-time.

45+1
It looked for a second as though Russia may be awarded a penalty as they counter, but the assistant raises his flag for a Poland free-kick instead. Dzagoev looked like he was pushed there.

45
Poland have a free-kick inside Russia's half now as Kerzhakov fouls Polanski. Obraniak crosses but it is cleared and Russia look to counter.

44
Zhirkov looks to volley the corner in from the left edge of the box, and it is a good attempt but it travels wide of Tyton's right post.

43
Russia break forward and Dzagoev almost gets a chance to score a second before Wasilewski slides in to clear Kerzhakov's low cross behind for a corner.

41
Dzagoev scores his third of the tournament so far, and many may fancy him to be the top goalscorer now. He really does have an eye for goal.

39
Poland try for an immediate equaliser and Blaszczykowski sees his powerful shot from the right beated away by Malafeev.

38
Arshavin delivers an inch-perfect free-kick from the left and Dzagoev beats Tyton to glance his header into the far post. The Russians were lining up to head that in, poor marking from Poland. 1-0.

37
GOAL - Dzagoev opens the scoring!

36
Russia pass the ball around in Poland's half, but are unable to create anything and Polanski eventually wins possession for Poland.

35

34
Russia threaten in Poland's half, but Dzagoev's shot is blocked.

32

30
Arshavin takes control of the ball and crosses from the right, but can't find Kerzhakov.

29
Good skill from Kerzhakov as he drifts inside from the left wing, but chooses the wrong option to shoot from outside the area and his effort goes well over the bar.

28
Staying on the attack, Kerzhakov hits a great low cross into the six-yard box but Arshavin is unable to get a big enough touch on it to direct it goalwards.

27
Back at the other end, Arshavin's curled free-kick is held by Tyton.

26
Obraniak delivers a good free-kick into the box after Lewandowski was fouled, but Malafeev claims it.

25
Russia now have an attack, Arshavin has a good run on the left wing, drawing in two defenders before delivering a good cross for Kerzhakov, but he couldn't get over it and glances it wide.

23
Murawski breaks into the Russia box but neither Blaszczykowski or Lewandowski can get a good contact on the squared ball.

22
Poland enjoying a good spell at the moment and are currently in the Russian half, trying to create an opening.

21
Wasilewski meets the corner with his head but misses the target.

20
Obraniak's header allows Lewandowski to chase the ball into the box, but Ignashevich intervenes well to knock the ball behind for a corner.

19
Poland get the ball in the back of the net but it is called offside correctly. Lovely football though by the hosts, who work the ball well to Lewandowski who set up Polanski for the finish.

18
Russia look to attack again and enter the box but Zhirkov fouls Wasilewski as he chases down the ball.

17
Zyryanov misreads the situation slightly and his chipped ball forward goes straight into the path of Tyton, who collects.

16
Perquis is back on the field now and looks okay to continue.

15
Russia string some passes together inside Poland's half but Denisov's loose pass surrenders possession. It's not long before they win the ball back though.

14
The defender has hurt himself in that challenge and is currently being seen to by the medical staff.

13
Feeble penalty shout from Russia as Perquis actually does really well to win the ball from Kerzhakov inside the box.

12
Almost a goal from nothing for Poland as Lewandowski sets himself up for the volley but his well-struck effort goes just effort.

11
Kerzhakov bears down on goal after taking a lovely touch but he is just offside.

10
Obraniak finds Lewandowski, who takes a touch and turns well but Polanski's touch lets him down to end the attack for the home side.

9
Now at the other end, Kerzhakov and Arshavin combine to earn a corner. Arshavin takes it but Tyton holds.

8
Boenisch meets the corner with his head but Malafeev makes the save.

7
Obraniak delivers the free-kick superbly but Malafeev reacts brilliantly to save a glancing header from Boenisch. Lewandowski wins a corner to keep the attack going for Poland.

6
Polanski wins the free-kick from Zhirkov, giving Poland a good set-piece opportunity here from the right flank.

5
Russia win a corner which is taken short. Arshavin crosses but it is headed clear for a throw.

4
Poland watch Arshavin closely to win the ball, but Russia have possession again following Dudka's foul.

3
Arshavin tries to play in Kerzhakov but the striker can't take the pass in his stride.

2
Zhirkov crosses from the left wing. It isn't a particularly dangerous delivery but the Polish defence only just deal with it.

1
Poland kick us off. They are in white with Russia wearing red.

1941
Disappointingly, quite a bad reaction from the crowd during and after the Russian national anthem.

1940
Just the national anthems to go now before we get underway at the National Stadium in Warsaw.

1925
There has been some worrying scenes in Warsaw, with several Russia fans being targeted by local thugs. Let us hope it is the football we remember tonight.

1920
SkyBet have unsurprisingly made Russia 5/4 favourites to get the win tonight, with Poland at 21/10 to grab the victory, while the draw is available at 12/5. The priceboosts include Lewandowski to score first at 6/1 and Russia to win 1-0 also at 6/1. Should be a good, open game this evening, and I reckon a high scoring draw could be on the cards. A 2-2 draw is available at 16/1.

1918
Joel writes: "I think it'll be a close one but Poland will come out on top. 2-0 with Lewendowski getting both goals. Even though Russia pose a threat through Arshavin."

1915
Plenty of players to watch in tonight's game. Lewandowski poses the biggest goal threat for Poland, and showed his worth with his goal against Greece in the first set of fixtures. Russia will also have to keep a close eye on Blaszczykowski and Obraniak, who are the creative sparks for the hosts. The current group leaders have some match winners of their own, and already have three goal-scorers in the tournament so far, with Dzagoev, Shirokov and Pavlyuchenko all finding the net against Czech Republic. Skipper Arshavin is the key man though for Russia, and will be the player Poland need to stop in order to gain a result. There is no doubt there could be a few goals in store for us tonight.

1908
Our referee this evening is Germany's Wolfgang Stark.

1907
As promised, here are the line-ups for tonight's game:

1907
Poland: Tyton, Piszczek, Wasilewski, Perquis, Boenisch, Dudka, Polanski, Blaszczykowski, Murawski, Obraniak, Lewandowski. Subs: Sandomierski, Wojtkowiak, Kaminski, Matuszczyk, Rybus, Wawrzyniak, Sobiech, Mierzejewski, Wolski, Grosicki, Brozek.

1907
Russia: Malafeev, Aniukov, Berezutsky, Ignashevich, Zhirkov, Shirokov, Denisov, Zyryanov, Dzagoev, Kerzhakov, Arshavin. Subs: Akinfeev, Sharonov, Izmailov, Pavlyuchenko, Kombarov, Kokorin, Granat, Pogrebnyak, Nababkin, Glushakov, Semshov, Shunin.

1905
Well, Czech Republic have just beaten Greece 2-1 in the 17:00 kick-off, meaning the pressure is on both the co-hosts Poland and Dick Advocaat's Russia to get a good result here tonight. Russia will be favourites following their emphatic 4-1 defeat of the Czechs last friday, but Poland also showed they have much quality in their squad during their draw with Greece, and will fancy their chances in front of their own fans. Team news coming up...
