Keane: Back in starting XI

Keane: Back in starting XI

Robbie Keane returns to the Republic of Ireland starting XI.

The LA Galaxy striker missed the 6-1 defeat by Germany in Dublin on Friday night but will lead the line in Torshavn.

Stephen Kelly has again been left out of the team - following reports of a bust-up with the coaching staff - so Seamus Coleman is again preferred at right-back.

Keiren Westwood continues in goal and it's a back four of Coleman, John O'Shea, Darren O'Dea and Marc Wilson.

In midfield, Manchester United midifleder Robbie Brady starts alongside Keith Andrews, James McCarthy and Aiden McGeady.

Andy Keogh, who scored the Republic's only goal against Germany is out of the match with concussion while Keane partners Jon Walters in attack.

Irish line-up: Westwood, Coleman, O'Shea, O'Dea, Wilson, Brady, Andrews, McCarthy, McGeady, Walters, Keane.
