Everton remain without a number of key players for the visit of the Premier League leaders.

Shane Duffy could continue in central defence in the absence of Sylvain Distin (hamstring) and Phil Jagielka (knee) although fit-again veteran Tony Hibbert is an option.

Midfielders Seamus Coleman (thigh), Leon Osman (knee) and Jack Rodwell (hamstring) are also still missing.

Manchester City, meanwhile, welcome back captain Vincent Kompany, who has missed the club's last four outings through suspension.

Mario Balotelli still has three games remaining of his own four-match ban, however.

Defender Kolo Toure and midfielder Yaya Toure are away on international duty but City have no injury concerns.
