Fogden: Could play

Fogden: Could play

Bournemouth are sweating on the fitness of midfielder Wes Fogden ahead of the match.

Fogden suffered an ankle injury during the 1-0 defeat at Chesterfield last time out but, with the fixture having been put back three days because of the freezing conditions over the weekend, he may have had enough time to recover in time to face the Grecians.

However, manager Lee Bradbury will definitely be able to call on new signings Matt Tubbs and Donal McDermott, who joined the Cherries last week, and winger Scott Malone is available after making a full recovery from a hamstring tear.

Bradbury will be missing captain Adam Barrett, who has been ruled out with a hamstring problem, while Mathieu Baudry (hamstring), Joe Partington, Shaun Cooper, Mark Molesley and Nathan Byrne (ankle) are still short of match fitness.

Striker Charlie Sheringham will miss the rest of the season with a foot injury, while goalkeeper Shwan Jalal has been sidelined after undergoing a routine back operation.

Dan Thomas has been recalled from his loan spell at AFC Totton and could feature on the bench as back-up to Darryl Flahavan.

Meanwhile, Luke O'Brien is set for his Exeter debut on Tuesday.

The full-back arrived at St James Park from Bradford on transfer deadline day and could slot straight into the Grecians' starting XI following the sale of Scott Golbourne to Barnsley.

O'Brien will compete with Billy Jones for the left-back position at Dean Court, and manager Paul Tisdale otherwise has a fully-fit squad at his disposal.

After extending his loan from Reading by a further month, Jake Taylor is set to start in attack, while Liam Sercombe has recovered from injury.

Midfielder Sercombe could come back into the side in place of Scot Bennett, as Exeter go to Dorset chasing their first victory - and their first goal - in four League One matches.
