90+3 FULL TIME. West Ham 3 Fulham 0.
Nobel is penalised for his tackle on Diarra and as Fulham seek a consolation, the Hammers fans will be soon heading off delighted with their team's work.
Three minutes of time added on.
Terribly unlucky from Fulham. Rodallega, who deserves a goal today, fires a volley from Sidwell's past that is parried on to the post by Jaaskelainen.
Best chance of the game for Fulham as Rodallega feeds in Duff whose right footed strike draws a top save from Jaaskelainen.
Vaz Te continues to be a great outlet as he sprints down the right before passing back to Nolan and just like that West Ham regain control of the ball.
Fulham can only pass the ball around midfield such is West Ham's brilliant defensive tactics, denying the visitors any space to play into in the final third.
Tomkins beats Rodallega to Riether's ball and Vaz Te is away again before Riise nudges him off rather strongly but fairly says the referee.
Excellent work from Vaz Te who storms forward on the break before unselfishly playing in Hall whose left footed shot is deflected away by Hangeland.
Duff is trapped into a corner and due to his poor right foot he makes a right meal of clearing it until he can do so with his left.
Cole shifts offside from Nolan's ball over the top of Hangeland, and just as Rodallega looked to have found some space to shoot, that man Noble is there to deny him.]
Hughes looks for Duff but O'Brien's header ends that avenue of attack as Vaz Te finds Cole, with Schwarzer forced into a nervous clearance away from the striker's path.
79 Demel does indeed come off and West Ham youngster Hall is the man who will replace him.
Demel has taken a knock, and his boss will be hoping he hasn't got to use up his third sub of the game here for a second injury.
Berbatov delays too long in trying to find Rodallega and Diame, who has had an incredible game, nips in to steal the ball away from the striker.
Vaz Te and Demel link up again, killing a portion of time before Duff slides in to win his side a throw-in.
Vaz Te slides in on Kacaniklic, winning the ball well from the youngster but Riise wins it back for Fulham who again go searching for a route back into the game.
Berbatov links up well with Kacaniklic as Fulham advance much deeper into West Ham's half, Rodallega's shot drawing a fine save from Jaaskelainen.
Excellent first header from Cole against Hughes, but Vaz Te loses out to Riise in a scrappy passage of play momentarily.
Sidwell again has a pop from the short corner but Jaaskelainen meets it well at his near post. Credit must go to Fulham who've battled far more valiantly since the break.
Berbatov cleverly flicks the ball past O'Brien and does even better to hold off the left back, his shot falling to Sidwell who earns Fulham a corner.
68 And sadly that is the end of the game for Carroll, who is replaced to a rapturous ovation by Cole.
67 Carroll lunges into Hangeland to win a header and the striker has stayed down as a result. In the meantime, Tomkins replaces Collins in a West Ham change.
Brilliant work from Collins, who dives in to block Rodallega's shot after a sweet lay-off from Berbatov after Taylor's error.
Berbatov is downed far too easily by Reid to the roar of the home fans, as Vaz Te again breaks with speed. Diame can't get a shot away from 20 yards though and Hangeland steps in.
Noble is on hand again to make a terrific tackle on Riise, before Riether's ball in from the right is headed away well by Reid as Berbatov looked to threaten.
Noble's tenacity is admirable as ever as he holds off Kacankilc to maintain possession for the hosts.
Carroll is at fault from the corner as he fouls Diarra, and such is Fulham's weakness from corner's today that it probably came as a huge relief to the visitors.
Carroll and Sidwell compete in a fierce exchange which ends up with West Ham winning a corner.
Demel shows incredible pace to keep the ball in play from Vaz Te, and West Ham hold up play impressively before Taylor unleashes a screamer that doesn't come too far from ripping the net in half.
59 Second change of the game for Fulham as Richardson comes off to be replaced by Kacaniklic.
The congestion in the West Ham is incredible as Fulham break with the hosts piling the bodies back to force Rodallega into shooting straight into Collins.
Diame's dummy allows Nolan to rifle away a strike from 20 yards but the brave Hangeland throws his body in the way with the ball destined for the goal.
Carroll puts a foot wrong in fouling Diarra, but Fulham continue to lack the invention in the final third to really trouble West Ham.
A goalmouth scramble ensures from the corner as bodies fly left, right and centre in something reminiscent of a Benny Hill sketch. Regardless, Fulham clear and it stays 3-0.
Taylor gets the nod in the end, and his penetrative drive is terrifically saved in the end by Schwarzer for a corner.
Carroll is felled 25 yards from goal and the West Ham players are queuing up to take the free-kick.
Tough call made by the linesman as Berbatov is judged offside from Rodallega's ball. Very tricky to call but the striker perhaps had strayed past the Hammers' backline.
As Jol contorts his face into all kinds of positions on the touchline, Fulham hold up the ball in their own half before Rodallega is tackled perfectly by Diame.
Good chance again for West Ham, created by Carroll's header, but Vaz Te fires wildly over, albeit from a tough position.
Vaz Te goes down rather theatrically under Diarra, where he may have stood more of a chance of winning the free-kick if he'd have continued his run on goal.
Fulham kick off the second half.
There's a Fulham change at the break and new boy Berbatov makes his debut in place of the ineffective Petric.
Kevin Jane writes: "Well looks like good old Sam has done it again what a good move bringing Carroll to west ham can see them doing realy well this year now. Liverpool will be crying come december with no strikers."
Philosophical words from Jeffrey Jackson, who writes: "Great to see The Hammers starting so positively. Carroll's arrival has inspired them. They CAN play good football and a lot of people are going to end up eating their words if they continue in this vein. However, the season is long....."
A destructive and clinical half from West Ham sees them lead 3-0 at the break with Carroll at the helm sees them. Fulham's game plan was shot after one minute and the hairdryer treatment will be needed for Martin Jol at the break to prevent this becoming embarrassing. HALF TIME. West Ham 3 Fulham 0.
One minute added time to be played.
Diame turns past Sidwell and looked set for a mazing run through the centre before Hughes makes the cynical tackle to bring him down. West Ham free-kick.
What a half for the Hammers. They've recovered in the best possible way from the mauling at Swansea last week and you wouldn't bet against them getting a few more before the end of the day.
Fulham again fail to deal with a ball into the box, with Hangeland falling all over Carroll and ending up playing the ball into the path of Taylor who rifles the ball home from 15 yards. 3-0 and probably game over!
41 GOAL! Taylor scores!
Taylor crosses in from the left but there's no target lurking at the near post and in the end Schwarzer is left with a comfortable take.
West Ham knock the ball around nicely, showing their own passing game which is frequently ignored, as Fulham for the time being are forced to chase shadows.
Carroll is the target for Vaz Te, but Schwarzer sees the ball early and leaps up to claim under the threat of the big Hammers striker.
Petric finds Riise but West Ham track back and end up forcing the attack back to Schwarzer. Wonderful pressuring from the hosts.
Good play from Sidwell to hold up the ball down the right side. The midfielder loses out to O'Brien though when his options dry up.
Vaz Te fires a wicked ball into the box which finds Nolan who again scuffs his finish. Moments later another penalty claim is dismissed as Carroll takes a nudge in the back from Hughes.
Diame shows wonderful skill but he can't get a shot away as the Fulham bodies swarm around him. He's looked terrific for West Ham so far.
Petric drifts back to get involved, the striker has been completely anonymous so far and one can imagine that rollicking that Jol will deliver at half time if it stays like this.
Collins is penalised for winning the ball superbly. Terrible decision from the referee and Allardyce is like a lion let out of his cage on the touchline.
It's rocking around Upton Park now as the hosts hold up play in dominating fashion, before a loose ball from Noble travels out of play.
After Demel won West Ham a corner, the delivery from Taylor was met with a bullet header from Reid as Fulham's defensive frailties were exploited again. 2-0 West Ham!
29 GOAL! Reid scores!
Riether asks a lot of Rodallega but the striker does excellently to retrieve it, with Duff winning a throw-in off O'Brien. A good spell this for the visitors.
It's better from Fulham as Diarra plays a simple ball into Sidwell who fires from outside the box but it's straight down the throat of Jaaskelainen.
Lovely skill from Rodallega as he links up play for Fulha, concluding with Duff's ball from the right travelling well over everyone in the box.
Demel makes a storming run down the right but Vaz Te's ball is terrible to him on the overlap, ending what looked a promising attack for the Hammers.
Collins completely clatters into Rodallega but appeared to win the ball in the box, albeit after taking a huge chunk of the man in the process.
Riether sprays a ball up to Duff but O'Brien is all over it. Moments later, Carroll's enthusiasm sees him concede a free-kick on Riise.
Carroll clearly has a point to prove today as his performance continues to improve with each touch of the ball. Fulham simply have no answer to him at the moment,
Reither clatters into Carroll in the box but incredibly no penalty is given. A rather controversial decision from the referee.
Demel does well to find Nolan, and the confidence is clearly flowing from the midfielder who attempts a volley from 25 yards and ends up missing the ball hopelessly.
Carroll is in the thick of it again, beating Hughes to a header before Vaz Te plays in Nolan who attempts a delicate chip over Schwarzer which ends up over the bar.
Hangeland sprays a lovely pass up to Duff, whose run was magnificent but the winger makes poor contact in the end. That would have been a simply incredible goal.
Diarra tries a drive. perhaps hoping for a deflection en route, but it takes no additional touches and ends up comfortably wide of goal.
Taylor looks to keep the move alive from the corner but his cross is cleared by Hangeland, as Fulham look to break but Rodallega's header is straight into the path of Reid.
Another chance for West Ham. Vaz Te and Carroll play a sublime one-two but the former's shot is parried wide at the near post by Schwarzer.
Diame gets away from Riether but the right back recovers well to make the intercepting tackle and only concede a throw-in.
The corner comes to nothing but Fulham look shell shocked early on such is the imposing start that the hosts have made.
The Hammers come agonisingly close to making it 2-0 as Carroll knocks down the ball into Diame's path, the midfielder striking the ball on to the fingertips of Schwarzer!
Richardson has a drive from range but it's comfortable for Jasskelainen, before Carroll earns acclaim putting Hangeland under pressure.
Someone's clearly had a word with Collins after his horror show at Swansea as he cleanly beats Rodallega to the ball twice in quick succession.
Taylor presses down the right, with Diame doing superbly to pick him out, but the winger's ball eludes everyone and ends up travelling out of play. Really bright start this from the hosts.
Carroll receives a heavy challenge from Diarra, something he can probably expect more of throughout the match, especially after his bright start.
Martin Jol will be disappointed with the way his side dealt with that goal, but they look to respond through Hugo Rodallega who ends up tripping as he tries to fire out a shot.
Carroll has an integral part in the goal as his cushioned header for Vaz Te allows the striker to play in Nolan who fires past Schwarzer in clinical style. What a start for the Hammers!
1 GOAL! Nolan scores!
Here we go. West Ham get the game underway.
Confidence is also flowing in the Fulham camp as Alan writes: "The fact Sam has put Carroll straight in shows a weakness in the Hammers attack. I can see the mighty Fulham controlling the game and winning by one goal whether it be 1-0 or 2-1. Would like to see Berba come on for the last 15-20 mins and net us a winner."
Gabriel Sutton gives his two cents. He writes: "I actually fancy a Fulham win here. West Ham were poor defensively against Swansea last week and Fulham look like a team that can score goals, they were unlucky not to get a point at old trafford. I'll go 3-1 to the Cottagers."
The referee for today's lunchtime clash is Anthony Taylor (Cheshire).
A confident Iain messages in first, writing: "I see West Ham winning 2-0 today, Noble and Carroll getting the goals."
Will bring you the full team news shortly but the headline news is Andy Carroll starts for West Ham after his loan move from Liverpool, while Dimitar Berbatov has to be content with a place on the Fulham bench.
