This is an even better save from Foster and it is instinctive stuff as he somehow reacts to Duff's long-range shot taking a wicked deflection to throw up his left hand and turn the ball over the bar.

West Brom are beginning to commit a few men forward in an effort to find a way back into this game, and Lukaku is proving to be a handful as he wins a corner.

Berbatov tries his luck again, this time from outside the box, but West Brom are quicker to close him down and the shot is blocked.
That goal has really lifted the crowd and it is just about deserved as Fulham have slowly taken control as this first half has developed, while West Brom have been good at the back but have not shown enough adventure.
GOAL Berbatov marks his home debut with a fine goal, curling a superb finish into the top corner from just inside the area after good work by Kacaniklic down the left wing.
It has not quite happened for Berbatov yet but he is working hard, yes really, and looks eager to impress as he urges his team-mates to move the ball faster.
Riether shows that he can defend as well as attack as he gets back to dispossess Ridgewell and play the ball calmly back to Schwarzer.
There is some hesitation in the Fulham box following a cross from Jones, before eventually Hangeland and Hughes work together to get the ball away from Long and clear it up the pitch.
It is Olsson with the heroics on this occasion to slide back and cut out another cross from Riether, who has been excellent for Fulham in the opening stages.
Fulham are gradually turning up the heat here but McAuley again does well to intercept Kacaniklic's pass.
There are appeals for a penalty, from the crowd at least, as Rodallega goes down in the area under pressure from Olsson, but the West Brom defender emerges with the ball and first impressions are that was a good tackle rather than a foul.
The ball drops to Berbatov in the box and he demonstrates good technique on his volley, but Yacob blocks the shot.
Riether is invited forward by a clever pass and he takes full advantage to send over a delightful cross, which McAuley brilliantly clears behind.
Kacaniklic darts forward in menacing style but his cross is blocked by McAuley. Berbatov then shows great awareness to pick out the Fulham winger for a second time, but his jinking run is thwarted by a sea of bodies.
Duff steps up to swing over the set-piece but his touch is too heavy and flies over the heads of everyone in the box to drift harmlessly out for a goal-kick.
Now it is Fulham's turn to play keep-ball, before Ridgewell brings down Duff to concede a free-kick in a decent area out wide.
West Brom enjoy a sustained period of passing and work the ball well to release Jones down the right, but there are not enough team-mates in the centre to take advantage of a teasing delivery.
The game has settled down after that bright start for Fulham and is now more even, with both teams looking organised at the back and patient in possession.

The hosts are completely dominating possession in the first few minutes and West Brom, who have retreated deep into their own territory, have barely had a touch of the ball yet.
Berbatov nearly makes the perfect start but he is unable to get enough contact on Riether's dangerous cross as he slides in with Olsson.
The pitch is bathed in sunshine as Fulham look to get on the front foot early on, with Riise getting forward well from the back.
There is no handshake drama in this corner of London and the match is underway, with Fulham kicking us off and all eyes on home debutant Berbatov.

Dimitar Berbatov has been handed a first start for Fulham after joining from Manchester United, replacing Mladen Petric alongside Hugo Rodallega. Alex Kacaniklic and Chris Baird also start in place of the injured Kieran Richardson and Mahamadou Diarra while new signing Giorgos Karagounis is named on the bench. There are two changes to the West Brom team, with Peter Odemwingie coming in for Graham Dorrans and Billy Jones replacing the injured Steven Reid.
Gabriel is the first to get in touch, saying: "Fulham fans will have been a bit disgruntled by their 3-0 defeat at West Ham after an otherwise encouraging start to the season- it's important that they put that behind them today. West Brom have done brilliantly to get seven pts from three tricky opening games but Fulham have got a good home record and I think that plus the introduction of Berbatov will see them end the Baggies unbeaten start. 2-1 the Cottagers."
