Oldham manager Paul Dickov will have a full-strength squad to choose from.

James Wesolowski completed the full 90 minutes in midfield after returning from a hamstring injury, while three new recruits made a favourable impression.

Manchester City loanee Reece Wabara slotted in well at right-back despite only meeting his new team-mates 90 minutes before kick-off.

Jose Baxter, signed last week following his release from Everton, came off the bench to join fellow debutant Matt Derbyshire on the scoresheet and snatch a 2-2 draw for the Latics.

Academy product Chris Sutherland became the fourth Oldham player to make his first-team bow after making a late appearance from the bench, and the 17-year-old is expected to be named among the substitutes once more.

Scunthorpe's latest signing Chris Sedgwick is in contention for his full debut.

The former Preston and Sheffield Wednesday midfielder made a late cameo appearance in the Iron's first win of the season at Shrewsbury on Saturday and could play a bigger role on Tuesday.

Skipper Paul Reid may also return to contention for his first appearance of the season after recovering from a broken bone in his hand, while another defender, Callum Kennedy, is nearing full fitness after missing the last five games with a toe problem.

Striker Leon Clarke will resume alongside recent recruit Karl Hawley after scoring in each of his two games since joining on loan from Charlton.

Manager Alan Knill has no new injury or suspension problems, but midfield pair Damien Mozika (ankle) and Michael Collins (tendonitis) remain sidelined.
