Gary Johnson may stick with the same side that lost 4-1 to Leyton Orient in midweek when Yeovil entertain United.

Tuesday's defeat was the Glovers' third in a row but Johnson hinted he might keep faith in his starting XI.

He said: "It would be quite easy at the moment for supporters, directors, management and press to lose faith in this group when you've been beaten 4-1 and it's your third defeat on the trot.

"But you have to keep working, help the young players get through it and help the older players get a little bit fitter."

Midfielder Korey Smith looks set to keep his place in the team after he provided the assist for Yeovil's only goal in his first start for the club on Tuesday.

Midfielder Gavin Williams is available after he returned to training last week following a calf problem.

Sheffield United's latest signing Dave Kitson could make his first start for the club.

Kitson, 32, joined the Blades on a short-term deal until December 31 after leaving Portsmouth last month and has made two substitute appearances so far.

Chris Porter is another forward pushing for a recall to the starting line-up and manager Danny Wilson must decide whether to stick with Richard Cresswell and Nick Blackman up front or shake things up following three successive league draws.

Skipper Michael Doyle, who signed a new three-year deal at the club on Thursday, and fellow midfielder Ryan Flynn sit out the final games of their respective three-game bans.

Wilson has no new injury or suspension worries as his side chase their first league win in four matches.
