Upson: Doubtful for Glovers

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson will be without the services of midfielder Ed Upson.

Upson will serve a one-match ban after being dismissed for receiving two yellow cards in Saturday's 3-2 defeat to Preston.

Fellow midfielders Keanu Marsh-Brown and Sam Foley will battle it out to fill his position in the middle.

Johnson has no other injury or suspension concerns to mull over as he tries to plot a way to end a run of five successive losses.

Striker James Hayter was an unused substitute in Saturday's game and is fighting to regain a starting place.

Reuben Reid offers extra attacking options for Johnson as he attempts to revive his struggling forward line.

The Glovers have failed to score in three of their last five outings and have conceded 10 goals.

Akos Buzsaky could make his Portsmouth debut.

The former QPR midfielder has agreed a one-month contract with Pompey and will be in the squad if he receives Football League clearance in time.

Ex-Fulham and West Ham striker Luis Boa Morte is also training with Pompey but no deal has been struck with him yet.

Boss Michael Appleton wants to bring in another forward after Luke Rodgers was ruled out for three weeks with a thigh injury.

Bournemouth loanee Wes Thomas marked his debut with a goal in Saturday's 2-1 win over Scunthorpe so he should keep his place.

Gabor Gyepes will try to play through the pain of an ankle injury again as fellow defenders Ashley Westwood (ankle) and Alex Grant (knee) are still out.
