Judge: Hoping to be back

Notts County hope to have Alan Judge back.

Judge missed last weekend's victory at Coventry as well as Tuesday night's home draw with Bournemouth due to a knock and the midfielder will continued to be monitored.

Should Judge not be fit, manager Keith Curle will select from largely the same squad.

Goalkeeper Fabian Spiess (knee), defenders Julian Kelly (hamstring), Tom Williams (calf), Carl Regan (ankle) and Manny Smith (knee) along with midfielder Joss Labadie (knee) all remain on the sidelines.

Ahead of the game, Curle said: "Doncaster have just got a fantastic result away at Tranmere (winning 2-1) so they will be coming here full of beans.

"After conceding three times (against Bournemouth) we have got to tidy up at the back. We are always an attacking threat, but we have to make sure we keep the back door shut."

Doncaster will check on David Cotterill and James Husband.

Both players were forced off during the second half of the 2-1 win over league leaders Tranmere on Tuesday night.

Rovers boss Dean Saunders is hopeful that winger Cotterill can recover from a calf complaint in time to travel.

Husband also sustained a knock at Prenton Park but the full-back is expected to be fit.

Paul Quinn shook off a hip problem to play against Tranmere and he should keep his place in the team. However, fellow defender Shelton Martis (calf) will probably remain absent and Jamie McCombe (thigh) will definitely miss out again.

The shortage of defenders means that recent signing Andy Griffin, who made his debut as Husband's replacement at Tranmere after joining Rovers on non-contract terms, will again be in the squad.
