Gary Madine: Could be recalled

Irishman Corry, who made his league debut in the recent derby draw with Leeds, was forced out of Saturday's win against Peterborough midway through the first half with an ankle injury and was replaced by Rhys McCabe.

McCabe is expected to make his 11th appearance for the Owls since joining in the summer on loan from Rangers if Corry fails to make it.

Manager Dave Jones has no other new injury or suspension worries and is not expected to make further changes to the side that started at the weekend.

Striker Gary Madine and winger Jermaine Johnson are both pushing for recalls, but are likely to start on the substitutes' bench again, while young forward Danny Mayor is hoping to be included in the squad.

The Owls recently halted a nine-game league run without a win and have secured back-to-back victories.

Managerless Blackpool will be without Ian Evatt for the trip to Yorkshire.

Evatt picked up his fifth booking of the season during Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Derby and must serve a one-match ban.

Fellow centre-back Craig Cathcart returned to the substitutes' bench at Pride Park following a calf injury and is set to step into the heart of defence.

Elsewhere, veteran striker Kevin Phillips remains sidelined with a calf complaint of his own despite initial hopes he would be ready for action against the Rams.

Unless chairman Karl Oyston's hopes for a swift appointment are realised, Holloway's former assistant Steve Thompson is set to take charge of the Seasiders once more as they look to end a run of five matches without a victory.
