Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson could name an unchanged starting line-up.

Wilson, whose side bounced back from their first defeat of the season at MK Dons with a convincing 4-1 defeat of Stevenage on Saturday, has no new injury or suspension problems.

Defenders Tony McMahon and Matt Hill both missed out at the weekend due to respective hamstring injuries and may return to contention, but striker Dave Kitson will be sidelined for at least another two weeks with a similar problem.

Fellow forward Shaun Miller is hoping to retain his place after marking his first start in the league this season with two goals at the weekend.

Goalkeeper Mark Howard (thigh) and defender Lecsinal Jean-Francois (knee) remain long-term absentees as the Blades look to extend their unbeaten league run at Bramall Lane.

Kelvin Mellor and Michael West remain unavailable for Crewe.

Mellor has missed the last two games with a knee injury, while West, suffering with illness, will be absent for the third successive game.

AJ Leitch-Smith continues to be ruled out with an ankle injury, having already spent over a month on the sidelines.

Teenage winger Ryan Colclough has returned to full fitness following a broken jaw, but will not be included in the squad to take on the Blades.

England Under-19 striker Max Clayton suffered no side effects on his first-team return from a calf problem in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Shrewsbury, and will keep his place in manager Steve Davis' squad.

The Railwaymen saw their three-game winning run come to an end at Greenhous Meadow, and head to Bramall Lane having never recorded an away win against Danny Wilson's men.
