FT: QPR 2 Fulham 1

QPR's long wait for a win in the Premier League finally comes to an end in a 2-1 London derby victory over Fulham. Two second-half goals from Taarabt, the latter of which was a superb solo effort, make it 17th time lucky for the Loftus Road club. Redknapp still has a huge task to save QPR, who had a late scare through Petric's goal, from relegation but they are at least off the bottom of the table. Stay with us for all the post-match reaction.

90 + 5

90 + 4
Late change to run down the clock as Cisse makes way for Ferdinand.

90 + 3
The ball breaks kindly for Cisse in midfield and he runs the ball forward before shooting over the crossbar from the edge of the box. He should have run the ball into the corner.

90 + 2
It is an incredibly anxious atmosphere at Loftus Road in injury time. But Fulham still look short of attacking ideas.

90 + 1
QPR are wobbling. A free-kick causes panic in their penalty area before Baird volleys wide.

ADDED TIME: There will be a minimum of four minutes added time before the final whistle.

Great save from Schwarzer. He dives to his left to go with an overhand stop to deny Cisse's header from making it 3-1.

It is now going to be a nervy finish for QPR as Petric's 20-yard effort takes a little nick off Faurlin to beat Green at his far post.

GOAL PETRIC (2-1)!!!

This looks like it is going to be 17th time lucky for a win for QPR in the Premier League.

QPR send on Fabio for Wright-Phillips.

There is a bit of a scramble in the QPR box when the ball drops at the feet of Sidwell. But Hill and Nelsen just manage to clear.

QPR are now simply trying to keep the ball and run down the clock with the final whistle just minutes away.

Sidwell has to be careful. He again fouls Taarabt with a trip from behind and is lucky to only receive a ticking off from Atkinson. His next foul is likely to be his second booking.

Duff's corner is cleared by Cisse and then the ball eventually goes out for a QPR goal-kick.

Berbatov wins a corner for Fulham after forcing a challenge from Nelsen when juggling the ball inside the box.

A Fulham free-kick is lobbed into the QPR 18-yard area but the unchallenged Green can claim without any problems.

Fulham are losing their composure and will be furious with how they have played today.

Another Fulham player is booked in the space of 60 seconds as Dejagah trips Faurlin.

Taarabt has been too good for Baird and Sidwell today. The latter is now all over Taarabt before pulling him down on the halfway line to earn a booking.

QPR are now taking their time over set-pieces and are understandably in no rush. They will simply want to defend with organisation and discipline for the final 15 minutes.

It will be a huge turnaround if QPR throw this lead away. They look very comfortable.

Jol looks so disappointed on the touchline. In a West London derby, his side have simply never got going.

Rodallega's afternoon is over and Dejagah comes on. Can this change bring about an improvement in Jol's Fulham?

QPR deserve their lead for their second-half performance. Fulham have been pretty dire so far today.

What a goal from Taarabt! After a bit of luck to bundle his way past Hangeland in midfield, he then produces a lovely step-over drag on the edge of the box before using the outside of his right boot to roll the ball curling, low just inside the far post. Superb.

Substitute Petric takes the free-kick but it is straight at Green and is pretty tame to leave the goalkeeper with a simple save.

Free-kick to Fulham in the QPR half. Mbia pulls the shirt of Sidwell. This is 30 yards from goal and could be shooting range.

QPR's set-pieces have been poor today. Faurlin has the chance to dink a free-kick into the box but it is a simple header clear by Hill.

Mackie has a chance but his volleyed shot is well wide of the target. QPR, though, remain the team on the attack.

The change from Jol will be meaningless if Fulham do not start to do better at keeping the ball.

Fulham have replaced Richardson with Petric in an attacking move. Rodallega has moved out wide.

Taarabt chips the free-kick into the Fulham box and Kelly has to head the ball away.

Baird again gives the ball away and Sidwell is then forced to foul Taarabt with a tackle from behind to give away a free-kick at least 35 yards from goal.

Baird has had a shocking game. He dwells on the ball on the edge of his own box before being robbed of possession. Cisse has the chance to shoot from 18 yards but curls just wide of the far post.

It leads to a corner on the right. Taarabt takes and finds Hill but his header can be volleyed clear by Duff at the far post.

Traore earns applause from fans after keeping a Faurlin pass in play and maintaining QPR's attack.

Fulham just cannot get any sort of threat on Green in the QPR goal. For all his nice touches, Berbatov is playing too deep and Rodallega is isolated.

Faurlin is beginning to pull the strings for QPR. This is his first appearance under Redknapp.

The QPR fans have now come back to life and are clapping and singing their support for their team. Incredible how a goal can change the atmosphere.

Free-kick to QPR wide on the left. Taarabt takes but Berbatov can volley clear as the first defender.

Finally we have a goal. Taarabt collected the ball in midfield from Faurlin before carrying it to around 20 yards from goal. His low shot deflects off Hangeland and leaves Schwarzer stranded. Is that the piece of luck QPR needed? Taarabt is booked for his celebration.

There seems to be more attacking intent from Fulham in the second half. Riise gets to the byline but his low, driven cross is cleared at the byline.

Taarabt started excellently but he has been very poor since then. He attempts a clever pass but only hits it straight at Baird.

The game is going again. But Taarabt then plays Faurlin very short with an attempted pass.

Hughes is down receiving treatment after taking an elbow in the face from Cisse when challenging for a high ball. It looked accidental.

Can anyone break the deadlock? We make Cisse the 6/1 favourite to score next followed by Berbatov (7/1), Taarabt (8/1) and Rodallega (8/1). QPR are the slight favourites to win at 7/4 with Fulham 9/4 and a draw 11/8.

Fulham have had to make a change at half-time. Riether is injured and Kelly has come on in his place.

WE'RE BACK: Fulham get the second half under way.

The first half started at a brilliant pace but since then there have been a succession of terrible passes, missed chances and scuffed long-rangers. QPR are obviously bereft of any confidence and Fulham have lacked very little as an attacking threat other than a few fancy flicks from Berbatov. Let me have your thoughts on a forgettable half at peter.fraser@bskyb.com or via Twitter @SkySportsPeteF.

45 + 1

ADDED TIME: There will be a minimum of one minute added time before half-time.

Redknapp is furious on the touchline as Mbia takes on a 30-yard effort which simply bobbles wide of the goal.

But Taarabt then bizarrely decides to play a back-pass to Green through the legs of Traore. Rodallega almost latches on to the ball before Green dashes off his line to hoof clear.

Corner to Fulham on the right. Duff takes the set-piece and Hughes flicks on at the near post before QPR clear.

This has not been a classic. Mackie's shocking miss in the opening minutes has summed it up and the atmosphere is beginning to turn.

Riether gives Richardson little chance with a long ball to the byline and the wide-man can only scuff his volleyed cross.

Fulham are having to revert to long balls towards Rodallega but he is not getting much change out of the taller Nelsen and Hill.

At the risk of repeating myself, Taarabt has over-hit another long pass from the right towards Cisse. It goes over his team-mates head and into the hands of Schwarzer.

Jol does not look overly impressed on the touchline. His side have offered very little as an attacking threat this afternoon.

I spoke too soon. Berbatov flicks a lovely reverse pass to Sidwell, who is then tripped by Faurlin. Free-kick close to the halfway line.

Berbatov has not really been involved today. This is an example of what Jol has been saying about how badly Fulham have been missing Bryan Ruiz. He had a great understanding with Berbatov.

Lovely footwork from Taarabt inside the box but then his chipped pass is a little casual and does not find a team-mate. Fulham look to break but Rodallega is stopped by an incorrect offside flag. Replays show he was well onside.

QPR immediately have another attack and Schwarzer, who has made a couple of mistakes in recent weeks, fumbles the first low effort from Cisse from range before gathering at the second attempt.

Taarabt's effort is disappointing from the free-kick. It clips off the wall and Schwarzer is able to run out to the right side of his penalty area to grab the ball.

Baird is not having a good game. He lunges at Mbia and brings down his midfield rival around 25 yards from goal. It is in a central position and could be a shot.

Now Hangeland gives the ball away. The atmosphere is falling a little flat at Loftus Road.

A few groans go around Loftus Road as QPR have to pass back to Green.

After the explosive start to this game, it has now all become a bit messy. Passing is going astray, chances are being missed and neither side is really clicking.

Hill is fortunate to not give away another free-kick for climbing on Rodallega. He had his hands all over the Fulham forward.

Fulham are still finding it difficult to pick up Taarabt. Hangeland and Hughes do not know whether to step out to deal with him and Baird and Sidwell are not dropping deep. There needs to be more communication.

Traore charges forward from left-back but his low cross to the near post is nowhere near a team-mate. Shortly after, Taarabt sends another long-ranger wide of the target.

Hill gives away a free-kick in the centre circle after climbing on Rodallega at a long ball from Schwarzer.

Green makes a clanger when dealing with a back-pass. He hits it straight at Rodallega. Fortunately for Green, Onuoha is able to clear up as Berbatov, latching on to the ball from Rodallega, thinks he is offside.

Baird gives the ball away again when looking for a pass to Berbatov. Berbatov saunters away in typically casual fashion.

Fulham can play a slow game if they wish but they have got to be careful they do not become inefficient and simply pass down dead ends. They had a chance to punish QPR and did not take it.

Wright-Phillips gives the ball away in midfield and Fulham can break through Rodallega. But Fulham take the pace out of their attack and QPR can get plenty of men back. Fulham end up passing back to their centre-backs.

Taarabt takes the corner but curls it straight into the arms of Schwarzer. QPR are wasting some brilliant chances.

The free-kick was inside the 'D' on the edge of the Fulham box. Cisse takes it but it is very poor and straight into the wall. He also hits a follow-up into the wall. Taarabt then sees his shot deflect off Berbatov for a corner.

Free-kick to QPR right on the edge of the Fulham box. Taarabt led a counter-attack and Mbia was brought down by Baird.

Fulham are undoubtedly trying to take the sting out of QPR. They are happy to pass the ball across their defence when in possession.

Corner to QPR on the right. Taarabt attempts to deliver an out-swinger but scuffs it and Duff is able to hook clear on the edge of the six-yard box.

Taarabt attempts another audacious cross-field pass but it has just too much fizz for Wright-Phillips on the right.

Richardson then has space to cross on the left but his ball into the box is cleared at the near post by Hill.

Fulham are trying to slow down the tempo of the game when in possession. QPR fans are booing whenever Fulham get the ball.

Taarabt is on song. He turns Baird and Sidwell close to the centre circle and then puts just too much on his pass through the middle to Wright-Phillips.

QPR remain on the front foot and Wright-Phillips runs with the ball before seeing his shot from the edge of the box deflect into a defender.

Sidwell is punished for handball when attempting to take the ball from Cisse when on the halfway line. Free-kick to QPR.

Taarabt is causing problems when dropping in between Fulham's defence and midfield. He picks up the ball and shoots from 25 yards. The low effort is saved by Schwarzer.

QPR cannot afford to keep missing these chances. It is easy to see why they have not scored many goals this season.

What a miss! Mackie will not get a better opportunity. Riise plays a horrible back-pass but only succeeds in playing Mackie clean through. But, from 10 yards, Mackie puts the ball wide.

Faurlin curls a pass to Cisse on the edge of the box. The striker attempts a first-time volley and does not fail to generate any power but his shot is wide of the goal.

Taarabt is playing in a free role behind Cisse. Redknapp appears to have put his trust in Taarabt.

Taarabt seems to be in the mood and lets fly with a shot from 30 yards. It flies comfortably wide for Schwarzer.

The game explodes into life. Duff gets to the byline and crosses. But it is cleared at the near post and QPR break up field. Taarabt threads a pass through to Cisse who gets goal side of Hughes. The Fulham centre-back almost pulls down Cisse but the Frenchman stays on his feet before releasing a weak shot which Schwarzer can save.

Lots of passing from QPR in the opening 60 seconds but it is all in their own half.

KICK-OFF: Relegation zone occupants QPR get the game going against 13th-placed Fulham.

QPR and Fulham emerge from the tunnel at a boisterous Loftus Road before going through the pre-match handshakes. Kick-off is just minutes away.

OPTA FACT: Damien Duff has five assists this season, his best haul since 2004/05 at Chelsea (6). Fulham and QPR are the only London sides not to win a derby game in the Premier League this season.

With less than 15 minutes to kick-off, here is a round-up of the team news. QPR manager Redknapp sticks with goalkeeper Green. Despite the return of Cesar from a groin injury, Redknapp plumps for the England international. Onuoha, Faurlin and Cisse also come in. Fulham make one alteration to the side who beat Newcastle 2-1 on Monday, with Richardson replacing Kacaniklic on the left wing.

Paul Yearsley says: "Really hoping we of all teams are the ones to seal that record for QPR, but on the other hand really hoping we are not the first team they beat! 2-0 to Fulham with Berbs getting both!"

QPR will also be out for some revenge. Fulham inflicted QPR's biggest Premier League defeat in their history when they thrashed them 6-0 at Craven Cottage last season.

Davie Loverock says: "Hope the Hoops can get a win today, but the way things usually have been I can see another draw. 1-1 Hoilett off the bench for us and Berba for the Fulham but keep faith."

OPTA FACT: QPR have won none of their last seven Premier League matches at Loftus Road. But Fulham have won just one of their last nine Premier League away games, although they have drawn four of the last five. Fulham have also won five and lost none of the last six meetings with QPR and the latter have failed to score in all six games.

Bottom club QPR (6/4) have won none of their last seven Premier League matches at Loftus Road but punters feel they will end that record today. Fulham (7/4) are far from popular on their travels and couple that with the fact that they have won none of their last six Premier League London derbies then you can understand why. Hugo Rodallega, who notched Fulham's winner against Newcastle last week, is 7/1 to open the scoring for the visitors, while Adel Taarabt (13/2) and Jamie Mackie (7/1) are popular for the Hoops.

Referee: M Atkinson Assistants: C Breakspear, M Scholes Fourth official: M Jones

Connor Lusted says: "2-1 to the Super Hoops today. Hopefully our defence can hold off Berbatov. Also hoped Granero would play. Quality player."

Jol makes one change from the win over Newcastle, with Richardson replacing Kacaniklic on the left wing.

Fulham team: Schwarzer, Riether, Hangeland, Hughes, Riise, Duff, Sidwell, Baird, Richardson, Berbatov, Rodallega. Subs: Etheridge, Kelly, Senderos, Petric, Karagounis, Dejagah, Kacaniklic.

That is three changes to the QPR team who drew with Wigan, with Derry, Diakite and Bosingwa going out of the first XI. We're still waiting on confirmation of the Fulham line-up.

QPR team: Green, Traore, Nelsen, Hill, Onuoha, Taarabt, Wright-Phillips, Faurlin, Mbia, Mackie, Cisse. Subs: Cesar, Diakite, Derry, Ferdinand, Granero, Fabio, Hoilett.

Are QPR already in the last chance saloon even though it is not even Christmas yet? They are unbeaten under Harry Redknapp but have drawn all three games. I expected Redknapp to make an immediate impact. What about Fulham? Martin Jol's team were impressive in getting back to winning ways against Newcastle United on Monday.

OPTA FACT: If QPR don't win this game they will become the first top-flight team to fail to win any of their opening 17 games since Bolton in 1902/03. Only three sides have won seven points or fewer from their opening 16 Premier League games in a single season before QPR this term - all three of those have been relegated at the end of that campaign.

As we await the team news in the capital, feel free to get in touch throughout the afternoon with your predictions, thoughts and opinions on the game as it unfolds. I will publish a selection of the best. You can contact me at peter.fraser@bskyb.com or via Twitter @SkySportsPeteF.
