Butler: Misses out through suspension

Butler: Misses out through suspension

The hosts are without captain Andy Butler as they look to end their 15-game winless run.

The defender starts a two-match ban after being sent off during the 5-1 defeat away at Coventry last weekend.

But the Saddlers are boosted by the return to fitness of Ben Purkiss. The defender has been sidelined for the last seven games with a hamstring injury but is back in contention for the visit of the Glovers.

Midfielder Florent Cuvelier is not available for the game as he continues to struggle with a hamstring problem of his own that has kept him out since October, but he is nearing a return to fitness.

On-loan goalkeeper Aaron McCarey's deal comes to an end after the game but the club are looking into extending his stay.

The visitors welcome back Keanu Marsh-Brown after the winger missed the goalless draw against Notts County on Saturday as he served a one-match ban after picking up five yellow cards.

But Marsh-Brown is now available for an immediate return to Gary Johnson's side.

Johnson will be without defender Dale Bennett after the 22-year-old returned to parent club Watford following a frustrating loan spell.

Bennett played just 10 minutes for the Glovers in a substitute appearance against Carlisle, after his stint at the Somerset club was plagued by a back injury.

Johnson is able to call on an otherwise fully fit squad.

His side won their last away trip 1-0 at Crawley, and will be looking to move back towards the play-off places, after having won only one of their last four league games.
