Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander has no new injury worries and is able to add new signing Jamille Matt to his squad.

Town completed the signing of striker Matt from Blue Square Bet Premier side Kidderminster on Friday.

The 22-year-old has moved to the club for a "significant fee", according to chairman Andy Pilley, and will be available to make his debut for the Cod Army against Rovers on Saturday.

Alexander suffered his first defeat in six matches in charge of the club last weekend as they went down 3-1 at Northampton.

Former Rotherham winger Gareth Evans is pushing for a first start having made his debut as a half-time substitute at Sixfields, while midfielder Anthony Barry also featured for the second 45 minutes - his first action since suffering a serious knee injury on the opening day of last season.

Striker Jon Parkin remains sidelined with a hamstring problem and centre-back Youl Mawene will not be risked despite returning to training from a broken foot.

"I'm not sure about Parky because Parky been injured since we came here," Alexander said. "He was injured a for a period before that as well so I'm not sure when he's going to be back.

"Youl's just started training with us again for the last few days and we have to take it day by day but we'll manage him back to full fitness."

Bristol Rovers look set to be without striker David Clarkson for the trip.

The 27-year-old striker is still suffering from an ankle injury while fellow forward Joe Anyinsah is rated as 50/50 to take on Alexander's side.

Defender Garry Kenneth has been ruled out for the rest of the season and could be sidelined for up to nine months after rupturing knee ligaments.

The 25-year-old, a summer signing from Dundee United, came off at half-time in the 2-0 defeat by league leaders Gillingham and a specialist confirmed he damaged his anterior cruciate ligament.

John Ward, who has been trying to bring in new players before the match, remains without Scott Bevan (wrist), club captain Matt Gill (knee) and Matt Harrold (knee) while defender Adam Virgo is also out.

'Tactically Inept And Lacking In Belief And Style'

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.

That's Why We Didn't Want Jose At United

There is plenty of reaction to Mourinho's antics (Isn't that exactly what he wanted?) plus thoughts on Connor Wickham, Fabio Borini, beach balls and Tim Sherwood...
