Adams: Set to start for Sky Blues

Blair Adams will be available for Coventry's home clash after penning a permanent deal with the club.

The left-back completed his latest loan stint at the club with Wednesday's hard-fought 1-0 win over league leaders Tranmere.

But Sky Blues boss Mark Robins had been working hard to strike an agreement with parent club Sunderland and that finally paid off on Thursday afternoon.

Midfielder James Bailey continues to be monitored having picked up a knock in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy area semi-final victory over Preston last week.

David Bell made a long-awaited recovery from his injury problems to make the bench against Rovers and will hope to included in the matchday 18 once again.

City are currently 10th in the table, just three points off the play-offs.

Oldham boss Paul Dickov has no new selection concerns for the weekend tie.

James Wesolowski serves the final game of a three-match suspension, while fellow midfielder and captain Dean Furman remains on international duty with South Africa at the African Nations Cup.

Winger Cristian Montano will be out for around two months with a torn thigh muscle.

Either side of their FA Cup third-round heroics at Nottingham Forest, Dickov's men have experienced a dismal run of league form.

Their last six games have garnered a solitary point - a 2-2 draw at Scunthorpe on New Year's Day - and Latics head to the Ricoh Arena four points above the relegation zone.

Coventry were 1-0 winners at Boundary Park earlier this season after Cody McDonald struck the winner a minute from time.
