Jamie McGuire: Out through suspension

Jamie McGuire: Out through suspension

Graham Alexander has suspension issues to deal with as his Fleetwood side look to bounce back from consecutive defeats.

The Cod Army had Jamie McGuire and Alan Goodall sent off during Saturday's 2-0 loss at Aldershot, earning three and one-match bans respectively.

Jamie Milligan heads the list of potential replacements for McGuire in midfield, while Dean Howell is poised to fill in for Goodall at right-back.

Goalkeeper Scott Davies returns from a ban of his own having been dismissed during the 4-0 loss to Burton in the last home game and is expected to dislodge David Lucas, although his veteran understudy did save a penalty at the weekend.

Winger Junior Brown (knee) and defensive duo Shaun Beeley (ankle) and Youl Mawene (foot) remain on the sidelines, however veteran striker Jon Parkin made a comeback from his latest hamstring setback on Saturday.

Mark Yates is set to make a number of changes as Cheltenham look to get back to winning ways.

The 2-2 draw at strugglers Accrington on Saturday was the Robins' second successive draw and it meant they fell to sixth in League Two.

And the Town boss could include Darren Carter and Sam Deering in his starting line-up for the long trip after both impressed having stepped off the bench at The Crown Ground.

One player who looks certain to keep his place in midfield is Marlon Pack as he scored the first double of his career on Saturday and put in a fine display.

Billy Jones and Russell Penn are also options as the promotion-hopefuls prepare for their second away trip in four days.

One Guy's Genuinely Irked About Fixtures

A Gooner in the Mailbox seems to genuinely think that the world/fixture computer is against his team. Sigh. That, plus more cool footballers & Mike Ashley: Supervillain...

Twas The Worst Game I Ever Did See...

In this Mailbox it's England v Algeria in 2010 that is seen as the nadir, but there's potential for worse, surely. Plus, one man says we should praise Rooney's honesty...
