Big chance for Rodriguez, but he can only hit his effort straight at Bunn.

It looks like both sides have run out of ideas here with no chances being created at all.

Do Prado fires over a free-kick and Lambert gets on the end of it but he directs his header off target.

Southampton make their second change as Ward-Prowse comes on for Lallana.

Snodgrass breaks the Southampton offside trap to go clear on goal and he rounds Boruc, but Yoshida gets back to clear the danger just as Snodgrass was ready to tap the ball into the empty net.

Neither keeper has been really tested in this second half so far.

Guly do Prado comes on for Ramirez in Southampton's first change of the game.

Lambert takes the free-kick, but his effort is deflected behind for a corner.

Shaw is pulled back right on the edge of the box, so close to being a penalty as Snodgrass grabs him, but it is only a free-kick.

Hoolahan sends over an inviting cross from the left, but Boruc is out to collect the ball.

It seems conditions are getting worse with the sleet raining down.

Hooiveld is down after a clash with Snodgrass, but he is okay to continue.

Ramierez plays in Rodriguez and his shot is parried out by Bunn and the ball drops to Lambert who hits his effort over the top.

Holt almost sends Kamara in goal, but the pass has just too much on it and Boruc collects the ball.

Great defending from Yoshida as he blocks the ball right in front of his own goal to stop Holt having an easy tap in from Snodgrass' cross.

Holt gets in down the right, but his cross towards Kamara is overhit and goes out of play.

Snodgrass is okay and is back on the pitch.

Snodgrass is down and in need of some treatment.

Holt misses the ball from Hoolahan's cross and fortunately for the Norwich striker his blushes have been spared by an offside flag.

Great sliding challenge from Turner robs the ball from Ramirez.

What a miss from Lallana as the ball drops to him around the penalty spot and with the goal gaping he fires the ball over the top. He really should have scored.

Southampton again on the front foot at the start of the second half.

Norwich get the second half underway with the conditions still shocking with sleet still coming down.

The referee brings the first half to a close and it is goalless at the break. Southampton have been marginally the better side, but Bunn has kept out their best efforts so far.

Norwich win a free-kick out wide on the right, but Turner is caught offside as he gets on the end of Snodgrass' cross.

The free-kick is worked short to Howson, but his effortis blocked by the Southampton defence.

Lallana is booked for the handball offence.

Norwich have claims for a penalty waved away as Holt appears to be tugged back in the box, but the referee waves away their appeals. The ball comes back into the box and Lallana handles Kamara's cross to give Norwich a free-kick right on the edge of the box.

Norwich win their first corner, but Rodriguez heads Snodgrass' delivery away.

What a waste from Yoshida as in acres of space he sends his cross straight out of play. Wasted opportunity.

Bunn is at full stretch to clear the corner.

Great run again from Shaw down the left and Hoolahan is forced to head behind for a corner.

Pilkington is forced off with his hamstring injury and Hoolahan replaces him.

Norwich go close to scoring as Snodgrass fires in a swerving free-kick which Boruc just about manages to keep out. The game is warming up a bit now.

Great save from Bunn as Lambert plays in Ramirez who spots the keeper off his line, but the keeper stretches to pluck his effort out of the sky. Best effort of the game so far.

The home fans are growing a little unpatient as Norwich have struggled to create anything up to now.

Good block from Bassong to keep out Ramirez's shot from inside the box.

Rodriguez picks the ball up just past the halfway line before trying his luck from fully 35 yards, but his shot is high, wide and not very handsome.

Good cross from Fonte towards Lallana inside the box, but he just can't get himself on the end of the cross.

Poor from Snodgrass as he breaks down the left, but takes too long to deliver the ball in and Southampton get bodies back to clear the danger.

Lallana's corner is too deep and goes straight out of play.

Good save from Bunn as he tips over Lallana's effort over the top after some fine approach play from Southampton.

Luckily for Norwich Holt takes a swipe at Ramirez corner and misses the ball totally, but no one is on hand to get on the end of the loose ball.

Good defending from Garrido to stop Lallana getting on the end of Rodriguez's cross as Southampton win their first corner of the game.

Holt is booked for a late challenge on Schneiderlin.

Southampton have a good chance to get a ball into the box, but they take too long and the opportunity goes abegging.

Southampton will be happy with their start as they are now beginning to control possession.

Bit of a scrappy opening ten minutes with no clear-cut chances as yet.

Howson almost sends Holt in on goal, but the ball runs through Boruc in the Southampton goal.

Good build up from Southampton as Lallana tees up Yoshida inside the box, but he fires his shot well over the top.

Lambert is forced off for some treatment for a head knock, but he is quickly back on into the action.

Both sides seem to be coping well with the conditions so far and are looking to pass the ball around at every opportunity.

Howson tries his luck from the edge of the box, but his effort flies well wide of the target.

First sight of goal for Southampton as Shaw sends in a cross but under pressure Rodriguez heads well wide of the target.
