Harry Arter: Suspended for visit of Doncaster

Eddie Howe will again be without midfielder Harry Arter as his side look to get back to winning ways this weekend.

Arter, who scored the only goal when the teams last met back in November, will be missing once more as he serves the second game of a two-match ban for his 10th yellow card.

Howe will also be without defenders Charlie Daniels and Tommy Elphick through injury against the league leaders.

Daniels (foot) is looking to step up his recovery while Elphick (shin and knee) has started light jogging and running in a straight line and the club hope he can return to action ahead of schedule.

The Cherries have dropped to seventh in the league standings having lost their last four matches, but remain just six points off the automatic promotion places.

Captain Rob Jones has been added to Rovers' growing injury list ahead of the trip to their promotion rivals.

Jones was forced off at half-time in the 3-0 defeat at MK Dons on Tuesday night with calf and ankle problems.

Tommy Spurr is likely to deputise at the heart of the defence, meaning boss Brian Flynn will then face a choice between starting Andy Griffin, who came off the bench at stadium:mk, or withdrawing James Husband from his left-wing role to his preferred left-back position.

Jones joins midfielders Paul Keegan (thigh), David Syers (ankle) and Martin Woods (calf) and striker Robbie Blake, who is still struggling to shake off an injury sustained in a friendly match against Manchester United last month, in the treatment room.

Goalkeeper Gary Woods is nursing a thigh problem following the midweek match in Milton Keynes and is doubtful, so veteran Neil Sullivan could be recalled from his loan spell at AFC Wimbledon.

Striker Chris Brown may be included in the squad following a lengthy absence with knee-ligament damage.
