FT: Swansea 0 Arsenal 2

Full Time. That's it. Arsenal win 2-0 and maintain their push for a top-four finish.

Swansea caught on the break and Ramsey has the awareness to square the ball for Gervinho who slots the ball under Vorm.

Goal! Gervinho seals it!

Corner taken short as Arsenal play for time.

Chance! Cazorla sees a shot deflect just wide of the post.

Home side pressing now and Hernandez is nearly away down the right channel but sees his cross-shot blocked.

Gibbs on for Walcott.

De Guzman with a decent effort from the free-kick but his curling shot hits the side-netting.

Arteta booked for foul on Hernandez.

Swansea not asking too many questions of Arsenal just yet. Still playing their patient game.

Fabianski flaps at the De Guzman corner but Arsenal break through Walcott only to see his shot blocked.

Swansea corner.

Gervinho is looking busy and now he cuts in from the left to fire a shot at Vorm.

Moore on for Swansea.

Santi Cazorla with a mazy run into the box. He squared the ball to Giroud who was under pressure from Williams but the ball was laid off for Monreal just inside the area and his scuffed effort squirmed past Vorm.

Goal! Nacho Monreal!

More lively from Arsenal though. Williams forced to concede a corner.

Gervinho gets away down the left with his first touch but the cross is poor.

Gervinho on for Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Ramsey on for Diaby.

Poor from Vorm as he fails to deal with a backpass and puts the ball out for a throw.

Arsenal attack breaks down as Jenkinson throws the ball out of play. Wenger's side lacking ideas now.

Routledge on for Ki.

Still entertaining but neither side really looking like making the breakthrough. It's Swansea in the ascendancy in this second half though.

Hernandez in space at the far post. But he delays, his shot is blocked and he wins a corner. It comes to nothing.

Good pressure from Ki forces Koscielny to give the ball away and Hernandez is able to dodge a couple of challenges before firing his shot over.

Chance! Hernandez squares the ball to Michu. He's 20 yards out and in space but measures his shot over the bar.

Diaby does well to dribble away from a number of Swansea players. Then stops. And goes again. Beats a couple more before running the ball out of play. Wenger's head drops.

Jenkinson cuts out a through-ball by Michu and then sets Walcott away down the right but the move comes to nothing.

But Vorm claims.

Jenkinson wins a corner.

Cazorla cuts in from the right and skips away from a challenge but Vorm is down well to save his low shot from just outside the box.

Then Ki tries to find a way through at the other end but is blocked just as he prepares to pull the trigger.

Vorm almost stumbles under pressure from Oxlade-Chamberlain but the goalkeeper gets away with it.

Diaby does well this time to intercept a pass from Davies but Jenkinson cannot find an Arsenal man with the cross.

Positive run from Diaby but he seems to run out of ideas and shoots wildly with his left foot. Over the bar.

Arsenal kick-off and the second half is underway.

Half Time. Entertaining game with Arsenal hitting the woodwork twice through Oxlade-Chamberlain and Swansea going close through Rangel and Michu. Still goalless though.

Corner to Swansea. Cleared.

De Guzman lofts the ball in and Arsenal clear.

Quality delivery from Rangel is well cleared but Monreal then fouls Dyer and Swansea have the chance to cross from a dangerous area.

Chance! Oxlade-Chamberlain hits the crossbar again! Superb effort from distance and the midfielder is left cursing his luck.

Walcott has switched to the left and nearly catches out Rangel with the full-back wrongfooted but elects to check back.

Oxlade-Chamberlain sees a shot blocked. Arsenal pushing but no clearcut chances.

Ki heads clear the Cazorla corner.

Clever one-two from Oxlade-Chamberlain almost gets the youngster away down the right. He has to settle for another corner.

Now Walcott fires a shot on goal that deflects wide after a good block by Williams. Corner.

Walcott with the cross but there is nobody on the end of it.

Michu gets away down the left and forces a near-post save from Fabianski but is ruled offside.

Monk clears from Jenkinson and then the second ball in is over the head of Giroud for a goal-kick.

Now it's Monreal with the blocked cross. Arsenal getting the full-backs forward.

Jenkinson's near-post cross is cleared.

All Arsenal for the last five minutes now but Swansea defending well.

Walcott hits the wall with the free-kick.

De Guzman booked.

Better from Arsenal. First concerted spell of possession for a while. Cazorla is fouled on the edge of the area by De Guzman.

Walcott almost through again. He looks a danger on the break today.

Walcott away down the right but nobody is close to him to get to the cut-back. Then Cazorla finds Walcott in the area but the England man is crowded out and the chance comes to nothing.

Davies attempts a one-two on the left but the return pass is too strong and runs out of play for a goal-kick.

Diaby far too deliberate with a pass and allows Swansea to break. The home side soon slow things down and play keep-ball.

Great shot! Arsenal string a few passes together and the ball sits up nicely for Cazorla on his left foot. The Spaniard takes a swing at it from distance and connects beautifully but it's too near to Vorm who makes the save.

Chance! De Guzman wins the ball just 25 yards out and slots the ball to Michu. His first touch leaves Mertesacker for dead but he drags the shot wide of the far post.

Swansea beginning to take control of the game, starving Arsenal of possession.

Cross from Davies finds Michu just inside the box and he attempts the volley but doesn't get a clean contact on the ball.

Chance! Ki eventually turns to get away from the Arsenal midfield and threads a neat pass through to Rangel who has bombed on down the right. He's in the inside channel and just has to beat Fabianski but skews his shot horribly wide. Great opportunity.

Swansea stroking the ball around in their own half to calm things down.

Rangel tries to find Dyer down the right after the winger spins in behind Monreal but the ball runs away from him on the slick surface.

Swansea attack breaks down as Davies lofts his cross over Fabianski's bar.

Good start by Oxlade-Chamberlain. Driving run from the centre creates space and then he sets Giroud away down the left but cannot get to the striker's cut-back in time.

Hernandez has the chance to run at Jenkinson but the full-back shows him inside and the Spaniard runs into trouble.

Oxlade-Chamberlain on the left edge of the box and he gets a little lucky with a ricochet off Rangel before beating Vorm with the shot but it clips the top of the crossbar. Bright start.

Chance! Oxlade-Chamberlain hits the bar!

Dyer now springs the offside trap with a Lennon-esque run in behind the Arsenal defence but takes the ball too wide.

Swansea engineer space for Dyer on the edge of the box. He opens himself up to curl the ball into the far corner but gets it all wrong and skies the effort over.

Giroud gets a head to the outswinger from Cazorla but it's a difficult one to divert goalwards and loops over the bar.

Slick passing from both sides in the early stages as Arsenal put a nice move together to win a corner down the right through Jenkinson.

Home side straight on the attack but Koscielny snuffs out the threat down the Swansea left.

Swansea kick-off.

Thanks for all your feedback. The players are out on the pitch, Michael Laudrup and Arsene Wenger have shaken hands and we're about to get underway.

A reminder of those betting prices from Sky Bet: The Gunners head to the Liberty Stadium five points adrift of fourth-placed Chelsea and two further aback from Tottenham, albeit with a game in hand, and priced at 13/8 to qualify for the Champions League again. The Swans are 21/10 to win, with the draw 5/2 and the Gunners 6/5 to win today.

Reuben from South Africa has been in touch. He says: "Arsenal have to win. I predict a Theo hat-trick!"

Patric: "As a Gunners fan I believe that we will win 3-1. Walcott, Ox and Giroud all scoring and De Guzman getting one for Swansea."

Don't discount Everton just yet though. They've just gone above Arsenal into 5th with a 2-0 home win over Manchester City.

Elliot: "A very important match for Arsenal today, in my opinion they have to win if they still want to be pushing for that 4th place spot. A win tody would put them two points behind Chelsea and four points behind Spurs which would really give fans some encouragement."

Two possession sides in action this afternoon. Arsenal have averaged 58.5% possession this season, higher than any other team (Swansea are sixth - 55.6%).

Arsenal surely have more to play for at this stage of the season as they chase that top-four finish. But Swansea are looking to win four Premier League home games in a row for the first time.

That deciding goal could well be a late one. Six of the seven goals scored in games between Arsenal and Swansea this season have come in the closing 10 minutes.

This will be the fourth competitive meeting between Arsenal and Swansea already this season and it's effectively the decider as both teams having a W1 D1 L1 record.

Luke: "Going for a 2-1 win for Arsenal today, the win on Wednesday was big for them and can see them getting a result today!"

So Fabianski continues in goal ahead of Szczesny, while Vermaelen is also on the bench. There is a start for Oxlade-Chamberlain in midfield.

Swansea: Vorm, Rangel, Williams, Monk (c), Davies, Britton, De Guzman, Ki, Dyer, Hernandez, Michu. Subs: Tremmel, Tiendalli, Bartley, Lamah, Routledge, Shechter, Moore.

Arsenal: Fabianski, Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Monreal, Arteta (c), Diaby, Koscielny, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Walcott, Cazorla, Giroud. Subs: Szczesny, Vermaelen, Gibbs, Coquelin, Rosicky, Ramsey, Gervinho.

Any thoughts or predictions ahead of this one. Let me know by email at adam.bate@bskyb.com or on Twitter @GhostGoal.

Our friends at Sky Bet have the odds for this one and rate Arsenal as 6/5 favourites to win. Swansea are 21/10 underdogs and the draw is available at 5/2.

And they need to take that form into this game if they are to maintain their hopes of enjoying UEFA Champions League football again next season.

Despite going out of Europe on Wednesday, the Gunners will have taken great heart from their 2-0 away win over Bayern Munich.

Welcome to live and interactive text commentary of the Premier League game between Swansea and Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium.

Kick-off is at 1500 GMT.
