Dean Furman: Departed to Doncaster

Oldham begin life without captain Dean Furman.

Furman joined league leaders Doncaster on loan until the end of the season on Thursday and is out of contract at Boundary Park in the summer.

"Dean wanted to go and, once he sensed the opportunity to join Doncaster, it was hard to turn him down," said Latics chairman Simon Corney on the club's official website.

"Dean has been a great servant to the club, both on and off the field, and a pleasure to deal with."

James Wesolowski is likely to be joined by Jose Baxter in the centre of midfield once more, meaning Chris Iwelumo is favourite to come in for Matt Smith (knee) up front.

Experienced defender Cliff Byrne will miss out once more despite having pain-killing injections to speed up his recovery from ankle ligament damage.

Youssouf M'Changama (knee) has left the club by mutual consent.

Bournemouth have been handed an injury boost with the news that Harry Arter's ankle is just severely bruised.

There were worries that the midfielder had suffered a fracture in the final minute of their 1-0 win over Stevenage on Tuesday night.

Winger Wes Fogden could continue at left-back after Marcos Painter was recalled by parent club Brighton due to an injury to Wayne Bridge. The 26-year-old made two appearances during his month-long stay with the Cherries.

Charlie Daniels is ruled out through injury while Matt Ritchie had to come off in the first half of Tuesday's victory.

Manager Eddie Howe will be hoping that the former Swindon man is fit for the trip after having eight stitches in a cut above his eye.

The Cherries got back to winning ways against Stevenage to end a run of five straight defeats.
