Time running out now for Stoke if they are going to get anything from this game.

77
Jerome flashes a shot off target after a neat backheel from Shotton.

76
Whelan's free-kick is headed wide by Huth, while on the sidelines it looks as though Charlie Adam could be coming on too.

75
Kenwyne Jones is getting stripped and ready to come on, while Michael Owen remains forlorn on the bench.

73
JUST WIDE!!! Jelavic steps up this time and rifles an excellent effort inches wide of the diving Begovic's goal.

72
Free-kick in almost an identical position as Shotton brings down Osman.

71
Baines takes on the honours but hits it straight into the wall.

Mirallas looks to get away from Cameron but goes to ground and gets nothing.

64
Ross Barkley looks like he is preparing to come on for Everton.

63
Jerome twists and turns in the Everton box but is unable to work space for a shot and the home defence clear their lines.

62
Shotton had very little time to react there but will be disappointed not to have levelled as he had the goal at his mercy and was only four yards out.

61
OVER THE BAR!!! Wilson's cross into the box flicks off the head of Distin and is then headed over at the far post by the arriving Shotton.

61
Jelavic heads down into the path of Mirallas who drives a shot at goal which Begovic drops on at his near post.

Good work from Shotton to prevent Baines crossing, but he is forced to concede a corner.

53
Gibson's deep effort is kept alive by Heitinga before Shawcross clears.

52
Coleman clipped by Whelan and Everton have the chance to put the ball into the Stoke box.

51
Despite Everton's lead, it's pretty quiet around Goodison today, with Tony Pulis' bellowed instructions from the sidelines often audible.

50
Walters and Jerome combine before Wilson stands up a cross into the area which Howard claims with ease.

48
Whelan's corner comes to nothing before the next Stoke attack is halted as the assistant flags for offside.

47
Distin has to be alert to put the ball out for a corner with Walters closing in to a Jerome flick-on.

46
No changes from either side and Everton get the second period under way.

Mirallas' brilliant solo effort is the difference between the two teams, with Walters' early effort which hit the bar the closest Stoke have gone to scoring.

45+1
Referee Mike Jones brings the half to a close.

45+1
Whelan goes into the book for blatantly pulling back Anichebe.

45
One additional minute will be played.

44
His corner, however, is dismal and goes straight out for a goal kick.

43
Mirallas continues to cause Stoke problems, playing a one-two with Anichebe before cutting across the face of the box and seeing his shot deflected wide.

42
Huth is penalised for pulling Baines back as he looks to break into the area. The spat between Jelavic and Shawcross continue to bubble...

Few words exchanged between Shawcross and Jelavic after another physical tussle.

40
GOOD SAVE!! Howard is called into action, plunging away to his left to push away Walters' powerful drive from the edge of the area.

Free-kick for Everton some 25 yards out, with Jelavic taking the duties ahead of Baines. He gets his effort over the wall but it is easy for Begovic to claim.

37
Stoke have the ball in the net after a long throw into the box but the flag has long since gone up against Crouch for offside.

36
Just been treated to another viewing of Mirallas' goal and it really is something special. Tim Howard punches clear with the Belgian collecting the ball deep in his own half and breaking away from Nzonzi. He then leaves Cameron for dead before finishing under Begovic. Great, great goal.

35
Baines tries his luck from long range but is well off target.

35
Jerome penalised for clattering into Osman as he wins a header.

33
Wilson hangs another cross into the Everton box, but it is too easy for Howard to claim.

Great cross from Gibson with Huth in the right place again with Jelavic lurking, before Heitinga fires over from long range.

30
Close to 2-0 for Everton as Jelavic feeds Mirallas but he drives a low shot narrowly wide of Begovic's post.

29
Stunning solo effort from Mirallas as he picks up the ball in his own half and switches on the after-burners to race away from the static Stoke defence before sliding the ball under Begovic.

28
GOAL FOR EVERTON!!!! Superb from Kevin Mirallas!

27
Another decent cross from Baines just evades Jelavic in the six-yard box. Thumbs up from the striker for the delivery, which he should have made more of.

26
Coleman feels he should have a free-kick near the corner flag after tangling with Wilson, but referee Jones is again not interested.

25
Anichebe shows good strength to find Jelavic, but Stoke's defence hold firm again.

25
Stoke hold firm from the corner, before Coleman cuts in from the right and tries a shot which goes way over Begovic's bar.

24
Everton continue to press and Baines swings in another cross towards the diving Jelavic, but Huth gets there first to knock it out for a corner.

23
Coleman and Gibson combine down the left but the cross is nodded away at the far post. Baines collects and fires it back in to Jelavic, but his header towards goal is straight at Begovic.

22
Crouch gets his boot to the ball ahead of the diving Heitinga, but it is easy for Howard to gather.

21
Anichebe links with Baines as they attempt a neat interchange, but the on-rushing England defender's touch is heavy as he breaks into the box and the opportunity is gone.

20
Wilson swings a cross into the Everton box looking for Jerome, but Jagielka is there to head away.

19
Whelan's deep free-kick is headed back into the danger area by Crouch, but the giant striker is penalised for having his hand on Distin's shoulder.

18
Chance for Stoke to put pressure on the Everton defence as Shotton is brought down by Heitinga.

17
Osman attempts a one-two with Jelavic, but his pass to the Croatian striker is too strong and the move breaks down.

16
Quick boot change for Distin, with hardly a break in play as he races to the sideline before taking a free-kick near his own box.

13
Replays show the ball definitely struck Wilson on the arm, although it was travelling at pace and was deflected before the impact.

12
Coleman cuts inside from the right and feeds Osman, whose deflected shot strikes Wilson in the box with the home players and supporters appealing for handball, but referee Jones is not interested.

6
Begovic is quickly off his line to claim as Jelavic looks to break through.

4
Hairy moment for Everton there with pinball in their box and they were lucky to avoid falling behind early on.

3
OFF THE BAR!!! Shotton's long throw into the box is headed goalwards by Huth with Howard making an excellent save before the rebound is fired goalwards by Walters and comes back off the underside of the bar.

3
Stoke look to attack but Distin is across to deny Shotton.

2
Jelavic attempts to pick out Anichebe with a cross into the box but there is again too much power on the ball and it drifts out.
