FT: QPR 0 Stoke 2. Championship football seems inevitable now for the Rs, who were not clinical enough when they had the chances. Vital win for the Potters.

Four added minutes...

Crouch makes way for Cameron.

Gum faces all around the ground, This surely has to be it now for the Rs.

Matthew Bellie has tweeted in, and sees the writing on the wall for the Rs: "Championship football for the R's now then?"

Home side look to have nothing left, and Stoke seem to be able to run down the clock at will.

Huth gets on the end of an outswinging corner, but he cannot connect properly, and it goes wide.

Another wasted free-kick from the home side, straight into the wall, and Derry skies rebound. Very, very poor.

At the second attempt, Walters coolly slots the penalty past a helpless Rob Green to give Stoke a crucial two-goal lead.

Goal! QPR 0 Stoke 2. Walters pen 75.

RETAKE! Walters smashes the ball home, but has to take it again. Went too early!

Hill tugs Crouch back after Huth's header had hit the post, and Chris Foy had no hesitation in pointing to the spot.

Stoke holding firm at the moment. very scrappy as they get men behind the ball and continue to frustrate the hosts.

Will a win see Stoke safe? They are out from 9/2 to 7/1 in our in-play relegation betting while QPR are 11/4 to salvage a draw.

Whitehead on for Adam for the Potters.

Hoillet does really well to cut inside, make space for a shot, but as with much of the home side's finishing, goes way over.

Kenny Jones explains where his loyalties lie via Twitter: "I like QPR and would like to see them stay up, however Stoke are my English team, come on the potters!!"

CHANCE! Charlie Adam gets on the end of a Walters flick, but volleys over from point-blank range. May rue that miss?

Crouch with a solid bit of defending! Mackie finds himself with space in the box, but Crouch stands firm.

Andy Wilkinson comes on for the injured Wilson.

Wilson makes last-ditch challenge on Remy. Injures himself in the process. Looks like a hamstring problem.

As has Ryan D'Souza: " I hope they do turn it around. Can't explain why but I want to see them stay up!"

Anuar has tweeted in: "Come on QPR never give up! Fight till your last breath, I still have hope for you guys!

Samba lashes a strike at goal, after a corner wasn't cleared by Stoke, but Mbia gets in the way, and is offside.

Bothroyd comes on for Taarabt.

SAVE! Best chance for the home side. Remy again, beats two men, and fires at goal, but Begovic is equal to it, and smothers well. Corner.

Ben Haim gets back well to dispossess Adam, when he looked to be on the verge of playing in Jerome.

All Stoke so far in the half. Having all the possession but lack of real quality is evident.

Shawcross has acres of space on the edge of the box, but panics and lofts the ball harmlessly over the top. Wasteful.

Home side look a little deflated by the goal. They must up their game if they are to have any hope of getting something from this.

Stoke get the game underway...

Jamie Mackie comes on for the injured Townsend at half-time.

QPR 0 Stoke 1. Could be a huge goal for the Potters in their quest for Premier League survival. Quality of football has at times been questionable to say the least, but Tony Pulis won't mind if his side pick up three points.

I tell a lie, the free-kick wasn't given, but a dropball for the injury to Townsend. He may not come back out for the second period.

QPR doing on the pressing at the end of the half. Free-kick to Rs on the edge of the box again.

Two minutes of added time...

Chris Samba flicks a free-kick towards goal, but he doesn't get enough on it, and the ball goes wide.

Massive blow for the home side, but great counter attacking goal from the visitors. Rs must respond, and quickly.

Great work from Cameron Jerome. He is played in over the top, takes his time, heads to the byline, fires a low ball in, and Crouch side-foots it home. Only Stokes second goal in the first-half of a game in 14!

GOAL! QPR 0 Stoke 1. Crouch 42.

The standard of football on show has dropped considerably as the half has wore on. Neither side can string more than a few passes together!

Remy with this one, but fires straight at the wall, and the rebound his ballooned over the top. Really poor.

Neat one-two between Taarabt and Remy, with the former fouled right on the edge of the box. Good decision from Foy. Rs wanted a penalty.

Game becoming more compact as both teams show that the nerves are getting to them. Hoillet's wayward effort epitomises that.

Townsend again has an effort from distance, but he doesn't gethold of it as he would have liked, and it goes harmlessly wide.

In fact it was Bosingwa with the effort, but he fires it on Begovic's side, but it still has to be palmed away by the Bosnian.

Remy is fouled right on the edge of the box. Free-kick, and a great position for the mercurial Taarabt to show us what he is made of.

Great effort from Crouch! Brings the ball down on his chest and fires a dipping volley which Green does well to claw out.

Mbia looks for an early long ball over the top for Remy, but it is overhit and Begovic easily gathers.

Remy again has a strike at goal, which is curling, but not quite enough, and it flies past Begovic's left-hand post.

Townsend tries his luck from distance after making space for the shot, but he mishits and the ball rolls harmlessly wide.

Almost a howler from Rob Green! Shot from Walters moves all over the place in the air, but is straight at Green, who almost fumbles it into the net!

Remy has first shot on target, plucking the ball out of the air, and firing a low shot which Begovic saves well to his left.

Jerome again causing problems. But this time he cannot control the pass from Adam, and possession is lost.

Charlie Adam is booked for a foul on Mbia. Slightly harsh.

Jerome manages to get in behind on the end of a long ball, but he can only flash the ball across the face of goal.

Remy tries to get the cross over, but it is blocked. Half-hearted shout for a penalty for handball against Shawcross. No chance!

Free header for Remy, but doesn't connect properly. Free-kick given to Stoke for foul on Shotton.

Taarabt wins a corner after dropping into that hole in-between Stoke's defence and midfield.

Kaveh Arshi has been in touch: "A must win game for both sides, backing QPR to win but stoke pose a threat, a little surprised why Cesar isn't in goal , having said that Rob Green has improved."

Long throw for Stoke, Shotton with it, launches it into the box, which is flicked on by N'Zonzi, but the ball is cleared.

Three on one break for Stoke, with options in the middle, but N'Zonzi fails to pick out either, but wins the corner.

Free-kick conceded by Huth, but he makes amends, heading the cross behind for a corner to the home side.

Stoke look much more of a threat today. Need to capitalise and make use of the possession they are enjoying at the moment.

Remy tries to latch onto flick by Adel Taarabt, who seems up for it today, but Shotton comes across to intercept. Good covering.

Looked goalbound, but put slightly too much loft on the ball, and just goes over. Begovic seemed to have had it covered.

Free-kick to the Rs in a dangerous position. Taarabt territory. Is this is moment?

Another chance for Stoke! Great ball in from Shotton on the right, but Crouch chooses to flick on rather than head at goal.

Cameron Jerome gets into a great position, is played in by Adam, but takes too long to get it onto his right foot, and the chance goes begging.

Edd Irwin has been in touch from Durban, South Africa. "Hi Pete, Stoke have got to score goals and I like Crouch and Jerome up front to do the job. We have to win this one and be very tight at the back. I must confess that I can only go for a draw considering the position both teams are in. So it's 1-1 for me."

Taarabt lets fly from distance. Really catches it well, but just goes over the top. Great start from home side.

Shaun Derry gets the match underway...

Ben Haim and Green in for the Rs. Will it make a difference?

Mark France isn't too hopeful for the Potters: "Went the Stoke v Manchester Utd game last week a man in front of me fell asleep don't hold much hope for Stoke. Just don't look like scoring but I never give up hope my mate Gary Trigg thinks Stoke will be fine."

The referee today is Chris Foy.

The teams are in the tunnel...

Remy is top scorer for the Rs despite only featuring in nine Premier League games! Could he give the home side hope? Get in touch!

QPR are 23/20 favourites despite being all but relegated with fellow strugglers Stoke 12/5 to put an end to their woeful run, which has seen them cut to 9/2 for the drop. Loic Remy has been one player to impress for the Hoops this season and is price boosted to 4/1 to open the scoring.

Goals have been Stoke's problem, scoring just seven in their last 13 outings in the Premier League. Is today the day they put pay to that stat? Get in touch!

The Redknapp revolution has not taken off in this part of west London as many thought it might, with only four wins out of the 20 games he has been in charge of.

I want to get your thoughts and opinions throughout the match. I'm Pete Hall, and you can get in touch via Twitter: @Pistolpeteh86, or via email Pete.Hall@bskyb.com

Stoke go for Crouch and Jerome up front. Is that going to be a winning combination for the visitors?

Five changes for the home side. Taarabt back in the side today. Can he have an influence on proceedings?

Subs: Cesar, Park, Onuoha, Diakite, Mackie, Granero, Bothroyd,

QPR XI: Green; Bosingwa, Samba, Hill, Ben Haim; Townsend, Mbia, Derry, Hoilett, Taarabt; Remy

Subs: Sorensen, Cameron, Jones, Owen, Whitehead, Kightly, Wilkinson.

Stoke XI : Begovic; Shotton, Huth, Shawcross, Wilson; Whelan, N'Zonzi, Adam, Walters; Crouch, Jerome.

The teams are in...

Stoke have been in freefall since the turn of the year, picking up only five points in 2013, leading to boss Tony Pulis coming under much scrutiny from the Potters' faithful.

QPR's situation has been well documented. The beleaguered Rs are 10 points adrift of safety, and will pretty much have to win all of their remaining fixtures to have any chance of staying up... starting today!

'Must-win' is an overused term in our beautiful game, but the phrase is pretty much bang on for both of these sides in the predicaments they are in!

I will be taking you though the action as it happens - live!

Good afternoon folks! Welcome to our live minute-by-minute commentary on this crucial relegation battle between QPR and Stoke at Loftus Road.
