Great move from Spain as Fabregas looks for one-two with Iniesta but Pereira pulls him down and is booked.

Pepe is booked for foul on Xabi Alonso, looks very harsh.

Busquets is booked for wanting Ronaldo yellow carded.

Ronaldo goes down in the box under Ramos challenge, rightfully nothing given.

Another Almeida chance, a more actute angle and result is the same as he fires wide.

Good chance for Portugal as Almeida has ball 25-yards from goal, but he fires it over with both Nani and Ronaldo looks for the pass.

Good work from Coentrao wins another corner. Nani takes but Fabregas volleys it away.

Negredo is the man to make way as Spain revert to zero strikers again for Spain.

Portugal on the attack this time and they win their own corner with Alba blocking Pereira's cross. Moutinho takes but Spain clear.

Better work from Spain, Xavi works ball out to Arbeloa - he fires cross into the box and Pepe heads behind for Spain's first corner. Taken short, Xavi whips it in but Almeida heads clear.

Another tough challenge from Alves, and another free-kick given away.

Rare long ball from Spain, but Xabi Alonso finds good run from Negredo, he finds Xavi, who in-turn plays it to the left for Iniesta. He looks for top corner but curls it just over.

Appeals for penalty as Ramos takes ball down on his chest in box - but correctly referee waves play on.

More intent from Portugal, Nani feeds Pereira down the right, he drives a cross into the box but Ramos clears.

Nice flick from Moutinho, plays in Ronaldo about 25-yards out - he goes for goal on the turn but his shot flys well over the bar.

Spain again seeing plenty of the ball, but Portugal are keeping their shape and discipline.

Good work from Joao Pereira and he sends Nani clear, he comes back inside past Ramos - the Man United man goes down but nothing is given. Portugal not happy.

Joao Moutinho takes but Sergio Ramos heads clear.

Ronaldo goes for goal but it cannons back off Negredo in the wall. The ball comes back for Coentrao, he runs off Pique and gets the corner.

Ronaldo again running at Spain down the left, he goes down and wins free-kick on the edge of the box as he is sandwiched between Arbeloa and Gerard Pique. Danger here.

First piece of action for Ronaldo, great run down the left and he dinks ball into the box but good work from Casillas as he comes for the ball and takes it on the edge of his six-yard box.

Good run from Coentrao down the left and he wins a throw deep in Spain territory.

Iniesta drives forward and goes for goal from the edge of the box, but it is high and wide from the Barcelona star.

Lovely move from Spain as Iniesta combines with Alba, he looks for Negredo, he can't control but it comes for Arbeloa - but he fires over from the edge of the box - he should have hit the target.

Spain enjoying some possession now. But Portugal pressing them high. Long ball from Xabi Alonso tries for Silva but it is through to Rui Patricio.

Jordi Alba combines with Anders Iniesta, but Pepe once again is there to block the attempted cross.

Nice build up from Spain, David Silva looks to slide in Alvaro Negredo on the edge of the box but Pepe is across well to intercept and clear.

Raul Meireles takes this time and Casillas comes and gathers the ball with ease.

First corner as Alvaro Arbeloa's clearance only goes as far as Miguel Veloso but his shot is charged down by Xabi Alonso. Veloso takes and Casillas tips it wide from under his own bar.

Spain give the ball away early and Portugal take early possession as they pass the ball across their backline.

Casillas and Ronaldo, as captain of their respective countries, go forward for the coin toss. Portugal all in white and Spain in their traditional red and blue.
