FT: Chelsea 2 Man Utd 3

FULL TIME. Chelsea 2 Man United 3.

Giggs ensures United retain possession in Chelsea's final third, linking up play splendidly with the game surely over now.

Young and van Persie exchange passes, and the former should do much better as he charges on goal before shooting wildly wide of goal.

Valencia is cut into by Mikel right on the edge of the area but in the end a yellow card is given to Valencia for diving.

Five minutes of injury time is added on.

van Persie goes down once more but Chelsea understandably carry on play, before Ramires loses control on the sideline and play halts to deal with his injury.

Young's dink into Hernadez is top drawer, but the Mexican can't complete the move as he recklessly fires over from a good position.

Chelsea are really digging deep now, as Azpliicueta dips the ball into the box before Ferdinand defends well against Sturridge. It's not Ramires' day - he is penalised moments after for a harsh tackle on Hernandez.

van Persie is caught offside from Valencia's ball, but it's still all United as they press for the goal that would all but wrap up the game.

van Persie clutches his knee aftaer takng a tackle from Ramires. He shakes it off though and should continue.

Sturridge makes his belated appearance, having been ready for 20 minutes now, as he replaces the excellent Hazard.

Hazard continues to work relentlessly, firing in from the right with a distinct lack of options making it an easy claim for De Gea.

Hazard nearly escapes with a through ball from Ramires but a last-ditch tackle from Ferdinand prevents the move building any steam.

Ramires thumps an effort on goal and is not far off from a masterpiece. He is one man who does not deserve to be on the losing team today.

United threaten with Young and van Persie but Mikel intercepts. He can't see Chelsea away though and the determination of Young sees United win back the ball.

Mikel is booked for what appears to be poor language directed to the referee.

The numbers advantage finally pays off for United, with van Persie initially hitting the post before Rafael fires the ball back into the box and Hernandez pokes home from close range.

Rooney is taken off for United with Giggs the man replacing him.

After a short free-kick, lovely passing in Chelsea's box ends with van Persie curling an effort some way wide of goal.

Luiz shoves down van Persie and United can make their numbers advantage pay from this free-kick.

Mata is withdrawn, with Bertrand boosting Chelsea's defensive lines.

Brilliant from Cole, who twists and turns before drawing a foul from Rooney, the Chelsea fans incensed that no booking is awarded.

van Persie nearly adds salt to the wounds immediately with a volley from Rooney's pass, but he falls mid shot and ends up firing wide.

Incredible scenes! Torres is judged to have dived under Evans' challenge and that is his second yellow card. Chelsea are down to nine and it could be a long 20 minutes for the Blues now.

Red card for Torres!

Rooney is everywhere at the moment, running back to aid United's defensive effort before intercepting Mata's ball into the box.

Oscar is taken off with Azpilicueta the man coming on.

Cleverley is hauled off and Hernandez takes to the field for United.

Rooney takes the free-kick but it's slightly too high, and despite dropping at the last second it still lands over the crossbar.

Ivanovic clips the heels of Young as the United winger sprints through on goal, and being the last man, the Chelsea man is giving his marching orders!

Red card for Ivanovic!

The first real attack of the half for United comes as Young whips in with van Persie only able to find Cech's hands with a glancing header.

Valencia collides with Ramires and incredibly a foul is given against the Chelsea man who had no chance of getting out the way.

Hazard delays a shot and ends up chipping into the box, where the height of Ferdinand gives Mata no chance ot meeting it.

Valencia takes control for United, finding van Persie who gets it all wrong with Rooney, playing him in far too early and giving Cech an easy ball to gather.

Evans can't clear away from Hazard, but Cleverley helps his team-mate out as United begin to be completely shut out of possession.

It's all Chelsea now, as Mata's exquisite ball to the far post finds Hazard, who inexplicably goes to volley when a header would have been a better option, and as a result he prods the ball wide.

Hazard cuts in from the left and fires at the near post - forcing a tremendous save from the boot of De Gea.

They've done it, Mata keeps the ball alive, chipping back into the box where Hazard's cross is powered home by the head of Ramires.

Valencia looks to cross, with Luiz's hand getting in the way, but a penalty would have been harsh and rightfully no decision is given.

Torres is linking up excellent for his team-mates, but Mata's attempts at a cross from the right are ended by a superb Cleverley tackle.

As some friendly pushing occurs in the area from the delivery, van Persie is penalised when it seemed both he and Luiz were having a good old tug.

A Chelsea corner falls at the feet of Mata, with the Spaniard's half volley clipping a United body to send the ball wide.

A van Persie corner is cleared away by Luiz, but as Chelsea look to break, Ramires can't retrieve Cahill's clearance.

Man United kick off the second half.

Dovi Suffer writes: "I can see this game ending in a hard fought draw. Man Utd have the depth on the bench to hold on, but with Mata and Hazard playing as they are, no defence in the Premier League can hold on all the way. 2-2 for me."

Here are some half time price boosts courtesy of our Sky Bet chums, Chelsea to win are at 4/1, with Manchester Utd 4/5 to hold on to their lead. The draw is avaliable at 9/4.

It's been a terrific half of football at Stamford Bridge, in which Chelsea are firmly back into after going 2-0 down early on. Another breathless half of football surely awaits, send your predictions to jack.woodfield@bskyb.com or @JWoodfield365 and I'll publish the best messages.

HALF TIME. Chelsea 1 Man United 2.

WIth two minutes of injury time added on, United win a corner through Young.

Great chance again! De Gea makes another splendid save after Torres found Mata whose stab at goal is denied by the legs of the Spaniard.

It's a divine free-kick from Mata, who nets with a beautiful curling strike to give Chelsea a massive boost going into half time.

Yellow card for Rooney, whose tempestuous tackle on Ramires gives Chelsea a free-kick on the edge of the area.

From the corner, Rooney hacks the ball into the air with Rafael forced to concede a second corner. Luiz can't head on target though and Evans stabs the ball to safety.

Ivanovic crosses in from the right, with a good challenge by Young earning Chelsea a corner. United deal with it, until Torres aims a header at goal from Hazard's ball with De Gea making a world class save at the near post.

Cleverley's one-two with Rooney is terrific, but as the former looks to van Persie, he plays a poor ball that leaves an easy clearance for Ivanovic.

Ramires is livid after a decision goes against him during a collision with Rooney - which has certainly livened up the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge.

Luiz again strikes but it clips a body in the wall and United are able to clear. Moments later, Oscar looks for Mata but he is marked well by Evra.

Hazard seems to be finding his feet as he links up with Mata, before Torres wins a free-kick on the edge of the penalty area after Valencia's nudge.

This is good pressure from Chelsea, who win a free-kick on the left, with Mata's delivery poor in the end as Carrick takes control at the far post.

A big let off for United, as Mikel's ball from the right clips Evans and cannons off the post. From the corner, Cahill's header takes a touch on the goal-line and drifts wide.

Mata's chip is cut out by Ferdinand, before Carrick reaches the second ball and ensures Hazard doesn't attempt a shot from range.

Ramires' determination sees him concede a foul on Cleverley, with United looking more and more comfortable in this match.

Valencia does well against Mata, but Hazard's persistence sees Chelsea break clear. United win it back through Cleverley but Van Persie is judged offside from his cross.

Valencia makes progress down the right once more, shooting at first, before a good challenge from Cole sees the ball out for a corner.

Ferdinand slips but it's not costly in the end as Rooney forces Hazard back, the visitors restricting space in their half excellently.

Young and Evra link up, but as the former delivers into the box, a wonderful sliding challenge by Cahill clears the danger.

Rooney comes across to cut out Hazard's run - displaying the team ethic that United have arrived to Stamford Bridge with as United continue to defend superbly.

Lovely stuff from Hazard, who turns away from Carrick splendidly before unleashing an effort that lands narrowly wide.

Luiz strikes the free-kick and De Gea makes an orthodox but effective save to stop the ball creeping in at the near post.

Ramires draws a foul from Carrick and earns Chelsea a free-kick roughly 30 yards from goal - and they'll be no shortage of players wanting to take this.

Luiz takes a risk by aiming to trick his way past Valencia. It doesn't work, and he is lucky in the end as Chelsea win a goal kick.

Mikel spreads the ball to Ivanovic, before Hazard gets involved, playing back to Ivanovic who incredibly passes straight out play. A very uncharacteristic start this from Chelsea.

Cleverley is careless as Ivanovic intercepts. His adrenaline gets the best of him though as he whips a pacey into the ball with no takers in the six-yard box for Chelsea.

Van Persie's corner is cleared by Ramires, but United are still on top as they probe for a third, before Rooney's ball to Rafael sends play backwards.

Cleverley shows brilliant composure to play United clear, before Valencia does well to earn a corner after Cole's tackle.

Torres skips away from Evra but his final ball into the path of Hazard sees the forward well marshalled by Evans.

Oscar is brilliant to track back and tackle Rooney, winning the ball back for his team who really need to find some momentum going forward.

Valencia crosses in once more but Ivanovic covers to deny Rooney space down the left. It's been a simply tremendous start by United so far.

It's a wonderful goal for United but it's shocking defending from Chelsea, who leave Van Persie in space in the box, leaving Valencia to find him with a pinpoint pass before a cool finish makes it 2-0.

Torres again delivers a peach of a cross into Oscar, who gets time to take a touch before Rooney gets in the way to clear for United.

Ivanovic slides in on Evra, and the United section on the touchline are up in arms as they though the decision should have been a foul.

Great battling from Ramires, who takes two tackles before eventually losing out to Evans as the Chelsea man is crowded out.

Ramires dispossesses Cleverley but United keep their shape and prevent the hosts from breaking quickly as a result.

Torres crosses in from the right, and despite a marvellous first touch from Oscar, he's unable to prevent Ferdinand cutting across and clearing.

A very strong so far from United, but good defending from Luiz prevents Van Persie from finding Rooney at the break.

What a start! Van Persie's shot rebounds off the post after good work from Rooney, hitting the back of Luiz who is dreadfully unfortunate to see the ball roll into the back of the net. 1-0 to Man United!

Van Persie gets the first shot on target as he is found by Carrick before unleashing a drive that is caught well by Cech.

An early half chance for Chelsea as Rio Ferdinand is forced into some last-ditch defending to clear away from the oncoming Oscar.

Chelsea get the game underway.

The Blues are 11/8 favourites to continue their unbeaten Premier League run with a victory against a United side who have struggled in recent seasons at Stamford Bridge. Sir Alex Ferguson's men have not won in west London in their last 12 attempts in the league and are 15/8 to change that statistic by earning three points today, with the draw available at 12/5. Both sides have lined up with one focal point in their respective attacks and Sky Bet go 10/1 that key strikers Fernando Torres and Robin van Persie both score this afternoon.

Bobby Salim writes: "In 2008, Alex Ferguson had to make a choice between selling either Gerard Pique or Johnny Evans. He sold Pique. I bet Fergie regrets that decision coming into this game, with our attacking power. If Fergie opts to go for a makeshift defence either Mata, Hazard or Oscar will definitely find a way past them. Test of character today with Lamps and Terry gone but a step we must take as a club because supporters now have to get used to the idea of our two living legends not being in the team. 2-1 to the Blues in my opinion."

George Bennett predicts: "An away win for United with them taking an early lead with Van Persie & Rooney my predicted scorers, I think they'll sit back & Chelsea will take advantage pulling back a goal or two but United will grab the three points."

Manchester United: De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra; Carrick, Cleverley; Valencia, Rooney, Young; Van Persie. Subs: Lindegaard, Anderson, Giggs, Hernandez, Nani, Welbeck, Scholes.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Ramires, Mikel, Mata, Oscar, Hazard, Torres. Subs Turnbull, Azpilicueta, Bertrand, Romeu, Marin, Moses, Sturridge.
