Mauri is replaced by Ederson.

Decent chance at back post for Townsend but he heads wide when he should have looked towards the middle.

Three minutes of added time.

Walker is over it, and Bale goes for header but Klose helps clear with some more excellent defending.

Free-kick near the corner flag for Spurs as Llulic brings down Townsend.

Half a chance for Mauri is he breaks into box again, Lloris come but angle it too acute for the Italian to get it on target and Spurs clear.

Nice skill from Townsend, he cuts inside and tries shot but Marchetti takes it.

Nasty challenge from Mauri on Naughton and he is deservedly booked.

Andros Townsend comes on for Lennon. Defoe is now captain.

Corner comes in but Lloris takes the ball well.

First changes are made and it is former Birmingham man Mauro Zarate who replaces Onazi.

Brilliant ball from Ledesma finds Mauri clear, but he can't take chance and he has to make do with a corner.

Good run from Dembele, feeds in Lennon but he is quickly dispossessed by Gonzalez - good defending.

Dempsey comes off and is replaced by Gylffi Sigurdsson.

Replays show Cavanda has stood on him after cross but totally accidental.

Bale cross to back post - but he is down and looks in severe pain. Play is stopped.

Bale takes and Caulker heads home, but whistle goes as he is adjudged to have climbed over Mauri - very harsh.

Ball is missing, waiting for a new one.

Walker makes charge down the right and does well to win a corner.

Another Gonzalez foul on Lennon and this time he is booked.

Lennon brought down on corner of the box by Gonzalez. Danger here for Lazio, Bale takes and Sandro fails to convert from five-yards - should have scored.

Rugby challenge from Dias as he climbs all over Bale.

Lazio penned in their own half, but they seem happy to have 11 men behind the ball and asking Spurs to break them down.

Good move by Spurs and they have the ball in the net. Bale played one-two with Dempsey and clipped the ball over the on-rushing keeper for Defoe to score, but rightfully flagged.

Spurs free-kick, chance to out it into the box which Bale does, but again does not find a white shirt and Lazio easily clear.

Walker plays in Defoe and he wins corner off Dias. Bale takes but good header away from Lulic.

Bale and Lennon have swapped wings.

Straight down the other end and Lennon breaks into the box from Defoe pass - his shot is blocked by Marchetti, he fumbles at full stretch and Dempsey is almost in but shot is deflected wide. Corner comes in and Ledesma clears.

Nice move by Lazio with as Klose plays in Mauri, but he cannot control and Vertonghen helps snub it out.

Defoe hits the advertising boards behind the goal after battle with Dias, he is not happy but nothing in it.

Naughton looks to play in Bale down the left he gets clear but good defending from Biava sees his cross go straight to Marchetti.

No changes at the break as Lazio re-start the game.

From Michael Nobes in America, he mailed to say..."Just watching the Spurs game here in New York. Spurs fans all over the place. Dempsey looking good. If he gets a goal look for him to fly."

Our friends may not be happy with Joseph Darcy at the end of 90 minutes. "Just lumped £500 with Skybet for a Lazio win. Spurs will do well to finish Top Eight in the EPL. Lazio will pick them off in the 2nd half."

Russell Wareing on Twitter - ‏@russellwareing - Bale (usually a good taker) is trying to C.Ronaldo it instead of just normally taking it. What is that about? I was thinking the same thing Russell.

Half-time whistle goes, and it is goalless - but an interesting contest which Lazio came more and more into as the half went on.

Onazi tries one from long-range but Lloris sees it wide.

Crossbar for Lazio, brilliant effort from Gonzalez after he unleashed effort from edge of the box after Vertonghen clearance fell to him.

Lazio fans chant Paul Gascoigne's name, and that is appreciated by the Spurs fans.

Please keep your feedback coming - Jeremy Golding has been in touch - "I'm currently in the south of France, my little boy is asleep in one room, the wife in another, I'm sitting here in silence willing on the spurs! Prediction, 2-1 spurs!"

Klose totally misses his kick on the edge of the box after good work from Mauri - Lazio coming into the game now.

Poor pass from Dembele and Klose attacks, he gets into the box and sees his cross deflected behind. Lazio corner but Bale easily clears.

Another Spurs free-kick, this time Cavanda kicking out at Defoe - who isn't too pleased with the Belgian.

Dempsey and Defoe over the ball, the American takes but again poor and into the wall.

Giuseppe Biava booked for bringing down Lennon on the edge of the box. Good chance for Spurs on the left side of the box.

Bale again, and again off the wall - this time for a corner which he takes, but it is not great and Lazio clear with ease.

Dempsey goes down again about 35-yards out, free-kick is almost carbon-copy of where the first Bale one was from. Looks like Vertonghen wants this one, but the Welshman there again too.

Long Spurs free-kick into the box, but good work from Klose to head clear.

Bale corner comes for Dempsey, he tries to knock it down, but Lulic clears.

Great one-two between Lennon and Defoe, but the former crosses when surely the shot was better - ball comes back for him and he finds Bale, and his header is tipped over the bar.

Lazio with a rare foray into Spurs' half, Mauri looks for run of impressive Lulic, but pass is poor and home side take possession.

Another free-kick for Spurs, deep in Lazio territory as Ogenyi Onazi brings down Naughton. Bale puts it into box looking for Jan Vertonghen but Lazio clear their lines.

Lazio struggling to get out of their own half. Lennon sent clear and he crosses deep into the box but Lazio clear through firstly Luis Cavanda and then Alvaro Gonzalez.

Cristian Ledesma in hard on Sandro, but no card this time.

Sandro looks to send captain Aaron Lennon down the right but Senad Lulic makes a good challenge and clears.

Half a chance for Klose to break into the box but Steven Caulker clears.

Gareth Bale attacking down the left but penalised for foul on Andre Dias when he hoped he had won a corner.

Tottenham attacking early and Mousa Dembele and Clint Dempsey link-up well - Spurs seeing plenty of the ball.

Tottenham get us underway kicking from left to right.

Teams are out and kick-off not far away now.

Plenty of feedback coming in from Spurs fans, James Mottershead and Pete Stickley not convinced that AVB's men will triumph tonight but Chris Sibley is tipping them to win with a clean-sheet too.
